Four wounded, one critically in three D.C. attacks

One man was critically wounded and three other people were injured Friday night in three separate violent episodes across the District, police said.

The critically wounded man was found about 10:15 p.m.with gunshot wounds in the 5800 block of Southern Avenue SE, police said. Homicide detectives were sent to investigate.

About 30 minutes earlier a man was shot in the groin at 15th and Adams streets NE, officials said. They said he was expected to survive.

Two women were stabbed in the arm 2600 block of Birney Place Southeast about 10:30 p.m.

No connection was reported among any of the incidents.
