She was among four people pulled from the one-story brick home in the 8600 block of Leslie Avenue in Glenarden after a blaze broke out early Thursday morning. One of her 8-year-old twin sisters and her mother were able to jump out of a window before firefighters arrived and were taken to a local hospital, where they were treated and released. Daijah’s father, Darrell Terrance Price, Jr., the other 8-year-old twin, Monae Jeanita Price, and 4-year-old Patrice Price died in the blaze, authorities said.

Fire investigators said Friday that they believe the blaze was sparked accidentally by an electrical appliance, though they are running tests to determine more specifically how it happened, authorities said. The fire caused $100,000 in damage, authorities said.

There have been nine fire-related deaths in Prince George’s this year, compared with 10 in all of 2012, authorities said.
