Broadlands Blvd. and Dulles Greenway, 3:06 p.m. July 27. Highway overpass pillar supports were damaged by spray paint.

ASSAULTS
Glenn Dr., 22600 dr., 9:24 p.m. July 29. A man threatened someone in a convenience store at knifepoint. A Sterling man, 28, was charged with assault and with being drunk in public.
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
Lawes Creek Terr., 46800 block, 6:30 p.m. July 27 to 8:45 a.m. July 28. A bicycle was stolen. It was later recovered but had significant damage.
Stanford Sq., 21000 block, 4:36 p.m. July 28. Parts were stolen from several HVAC units.
Woodmint Terr., 46700 block, 3:06 a.m. Aug. 3. An attempt was made to enter an occupied residence by breaking a kitchen window.
WATERFORD AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
Old Wheatland Rd., 39600 block, 12:15 a.m. Aug. 3. A purse, an MP3 player and a camera were stolen from a vehicle entered by damaging a window.
