ALDIE AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Quimby Oaks Pl., 24900 block, 11 p.m. Sept. 25 to 7 a.m. Sept. 26. A DVD player was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

ASHBURN AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Old Gallivan Terr., 43100 block, 8 p.m. Sept. 27 to 7 a.m. Sept. 28. Tools were stolen from a garage at a residence.

Piccadilly Plaza, 42900 block, 2:30 a.m. Oct. 4. Cash was stolen in a break-in at a business.

Piccadilly Plaza,42900 block, 2:35 a.m. Oct. 4. Cash was stolen in a break-in at a business.

Piccadilly Plaza, 42900 block, 4:37 a.m. Sept. 28. Cash was stolen from a business entered by damaging a door.

Verde Gate Terr., 22500 block, 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 2. A faucet was stolen from a bathroom in a house under construction. Flooring was damaged in the incident.

ASSAULTS

Cedar Walk Cir., 100 block, 7:12 p.m. Sept. 29. An assault was reported.

Crestwood St., 500 block, 1:15 p.m. Sept. 27. An assault was reported. Police said it was a domestic incident.

Market St. E., 700 block, 12:34 p.m. Oct. 2. Threats were reported.

Meadows Lane, 100 block, 8:06 a.m. Sept. 28. An assault was reported. Police said it was a domestic incident.

Smartts Lane, 800 block, 5:48 p.m. Oct. 1. An assault was reported.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Belmont Dr., 100 block, 11:22 a.m. Sept. 28. Fraud was reported.

Belmont Dr., 300 block, 4:45 p.m. Oct. 1. Fraud was reported.

Catoctin Cir., unit block, 4:26 p.m. Sept. 28. A bicycle was stolen.

Clubhouse Dr., 100 block, 4:15 p.m. Oct. 2. A theft was reported.

Conklin Dr., 41800 block, 10 p.m. Sept. 27 to 6:15 a.m. Sept. 28. A wallet and an MP3 player were among property stolen from two vehicles.

Cornwall St. NW, 200 block, 11:58 a.m. Sept. 27. Theft was reported.

Edwards Ferry Rd. NE, 900 block, 12:05 p.m. Sept. 27. Theft was reported.

Edwards Ferry Rd. NE, 900 block, 2:21 p.m. Sept. 27. Shoplifting was reported.

Berlin Tpk., 12800 block, 3:30 a.m. Oct. 1. A business was entered by damaging a rear window. Nothing was reported missing.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Arrowood Pl., 17300 block, 8 p.m. Sept. 27 to 7:15 a.m. Sept. 28. A Global Positioning System unit was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Loudoun St. E., unit block, 1 p.m. Sept. 28. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle at a service station.

21st St. N., 300 block, 11:35 p.m. Sept. 26. An assault was reported.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

21st St. N., 100 block, 12:07 p.m. Sept. 27. Property was stolen from a vehicle.

STERLING AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Clarkes Crossing Sq., 45400 block, 11 p.m. Sept. 29 to 10 a.m. Sept. 30. Coins were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Holiday Park Dr., 22700 block, 11 a.m. to noon Sept. 30. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle.

Potomac Hill Sq., 23000 block, 6:30 a.m. Oct. 1 to 7 a.m. Oct. 2. A Global Positioning System unit was stolen from a vehicle.

Providence Village Dr. and St. Johns Sq., 4:30 p.m. Sept. 29 to 10:20 a.m. Sept. 30. Two laptop computers were stolen from a vehicle.

Sanderson Sq., 1400 block, 7 p.m. Sept. 30 to 7 a.m. Oct. 1. A bumper was taken from a vehicle.

Shaw Rd., 21900 block, 6 p.m. Oct. 2 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 3. Two collection- donation boxes were stolen.

Thomas Jefferson Dr. and Frederick Dr., 11 p.m. Oct. 3. A vehicle was entered, which set off an alarm. A male fled empty-handed.

WEAPONS OFFENSES

Cedar Dr. and Jennings Farm Dr., 4:02 p.m. Sept. 30. During a traffic incident, someone threatened a motorist with a firearm. An investigation was continuing.

VANDALISM

Lewins Ct., 20600 block, 11:19 a.m. Sept. 28. A fence was spray-painted.
