THEFTS/BREAK-INS

John S. Mosby Hwy., 41700 block, Sept. 30 to Oct. 8. Two motorcycles were stolen from a residential shed.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Via Veneto Way, 42900 block, 8:30 p.m. Oct. 8 to 9:30 a.m. Oct. 9. A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle by damaging a window.

VANDALISM

Brookford Sq., 43200 block, 2:45 a.m. Oct. 11. An attempt was made to break into a vehicle by damaging a window, which triggered an alarm.

Evergreen Mills Rd., 21100 block, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 8. Several used vehicle batteries were stolen from a recycling center.

Hughesville Rd., 38600 block, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 11. Three guns and coins were among property stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Market St. E., 300 block, 10:01 p.m. Oct. 11. A theft was reported.

Peale Lane, 18900 block, 9 p.m. Oct. 10 to 8:10 a.m. Oct. 11. A Global Positioning System unit and sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Royal St., 200 block, 1:13 p.m. Oct. 4. Fraud was reported.

Sydnor Hill Ct., 18300 block, 9 p.m. Oct. 10 to 10 a.m. Oct. 11. A Global Positioning System unit, a wallet and sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Turning Leaf Lane, 16100 block, 4:35 p.m. Oct. 4. Copper wiring was stolen from a construction site.
