ASHBURN AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Exchange St. and Russell Branch Pkwy., 3 p.m. Feb. 22 to 7 a.m. Feb. 23. Copper tubing was stolen from a construction site.

Parkhurst Plaza, 43700 block, Feb. 26. A trailer was stolen.

Rubles Mill Ct., 20900 block, 9:20 p.m. Feb. 23. A bicycle was stolen from an open garage.

VANDALISM

Naples Lakes Terr., 19800 block, 9:30 p.m. Feb. 27 to 7 a.m. Feb. 28. A home landscape light was damaged.

Verlaine Ct., 21000 block, noon to 3:45 p.m. Feb. 25. A window was damaged at a residence.

CHANTILLY AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Dean Chapel Sq., 42200 block, Feb. 22 to Feb. 25. Copper wiring was stolen from a house under construction entered by damaging a front door.

GREAT FALLS AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Birmingham Ct., 11000 block, 10 p.m. Feb. 22 to 8:40 a.m. Feb. 23. Coins were stolen from a vehicle.

Merchant Ct., 3000 block, 1:15 to 7 a.m. Feb. 23. A purse was stolen from a residence entered by using a garage-door opener taken from an unlocked vehicle. The purse was recovered nearby.

Sugar Meadow Dr., 10700 block, 3:30 to 7 a.m. Feb. 23. Cash, jewelry, clothes and a purse were stolen from a home.

ASSAULTS

Catoctin Cir., 300 block, 1:37 p.m. Feb. 22. An assault was reported.

Belmont Dr., 200 block, 9:06 p.m. Feb. 22. An assault was reported. Police said it was a domestic incident.

Market St. E., 400 block, 10:51 a.m. Feb. 22. Threats were reported.

Market St. E., 500 block, 6:56 p.m. Feb. 24. Threats were reported.

Market St. E., 700 block, 12:24 p.m. Feb. 24. An assault was reported.

Plaza St., unit block, 3 p.m. Feb. 21. An assault was reported. Police said it was a domestic incident.

Dry Mill Rd., 400 block, 10:06 a.m. Feb. 28. A theft was reported.

Edwards Ferry Rd., 900 block, 5:28 p.m. Feb. 25. Shoplifting was reported.

Edwards Ferry Rd., 900 block, 2:12 p.m. Feb. 26. Shoplifting was reported.

Huntmaster Terr., 1100 block, 2:44 p.m. Feb. 24. A theft was reported.

Plaza St., unit block, 4:59 p.m. Feb. 22. Fraud was reported.

Valley View Ave. Sw, 200 block, 8:36 p.m. Feb. 22. Fraud was reported.

INDECENT EXPOSURE INCIDENT

Catoctin Cir., 9:37 p.m. Feb. 23. Indecent exposure was reported.

MIDDLEBURG AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Lime Kiln Rd., 38200 block, 4 to 8 p.m. Feb. 22. An attempt was made to enter a residence by damaging a window. Nothing was reported missing.

Steptoe Hill Rd., 21400 block, 2:13 p.m. Feb. 19 to 10 a.m. Feb. 22. A delivered package was stolen from a residence

PURCELLVILLE AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Main St. E., 800 block, 12:03 p.m. Feb. 19. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle.

16th St. N., 100 block, 8:24 p.m. Feb. 21. Property was stolen from a residence.

ROUND HILL AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Simmintal Lane, 17000 block, noon Feb. 4 to 6 p.m. Feb. 24. Power tools were stolen from a garage.

STERLING AREA

ASSAULTS

Leatherleaf Cir., 21700 block, 11:45 p.m. Feb. 23. A man attacked another man during a dispute. A Leesburg resident, 49, was charged with aggravated malicious wounding. The victim was treated at a hospital.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Berwick Ct., 47000 block, 9 p.m. Feb. 27 to 9 a.m. Feb. 28. Three bicycles were stolen from a garage.

Brethour Ct., 1200 block, 2:30 to 5:45 a.m. Feb. 27. Two laptop computers, a camera and other electronic equipment were stolen from a vehicle.

Cranston St., 46200 block, 6:53 p.m. Feb. 26. A wallet and clothes were stolen from a locker at a gym.

Darkhollow Falls Terr., 47300 block, 7:30 a.m. to 9:09 p.m. Feb. 28. Jewelry, a laptop computer and other electronic items were stolen from a home entered by damaging a rear window.

Greencastle Rd., unit block, 10 p.m. Feb. 26 to 11:10 a.m. Feb. 27. Tools were stolen from an open garage.

VANDALISM

Greenthorn Ave and Holborn Ct., 10:51 p.m. Feb. 24. Two Virginia Department of Transportation signs were damaged.

Hobblebush Terr., 46700 block, 8:30 to 8:35 p.m. Feb. 24. A vehicle windshield was damaged.

WATERFORD AREA

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Old Wheatland Rd., 38600 block, 12:01 to 7 a.m. Feb. 24. A white-and-blue 1998 Dodge 2500 truck was stolen.
