Thistledown Terr., 43100 block, 7:45 a.m. Dec. 8. A man who appeared to be intoxicated knocked on an apartment door. An Ashburn man, 30, was charged with public drunkenness and resisting arrest.

Golf View Dr., 42800 block, 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5. A parcel was stolen from a residence.

Edwards Ferry Rd., 1300 block, 2:14 p.m. Dec. 10. A vehicle was reported stolen.

STERLING AREA
ASSAULTS

Towncenter Plaza, 21700 block, 2:47 a.m. Dec. 7. Deputies investigated a report of an altercation between two customers at a restaurant. A Leesburg resident, 20, was charged with aggravated malicious wounding and possession of marijuana. The other customer was treated at a hospital for a severe cut.

ROBBERIES

Sinegar Pl., 5:48 a.m. Dec. 10. Sheriff’s officers investigated a report of a man who said he was assaulted by a driver for an airport shuttle service after he was picked up in the District and driven to Loudoun County. The driver allegedly threatened the man by showing him a blade and demanded money. The driver was located near the scene of the incident. A Hyattsville man, 52, was charged with robbery and abduction.

Aspen Ave. N., 100 block, Dec. 10 to Dec. 11. A parcel was stolen from a residence.

VANDALISM

Huntington Sq., 21200 block, 9:26 a.m. Dec. 12. Exterior walls of an apartment complex were marked with graffiti.

Route 28 and Waxpool Rd., 9 a.m. Dec. 12. During a traffic altercation with another driver, a man got out of his vehicle and hit a window of the other driver’s car, damaging a side mirror.
