THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Sheffield Ct., 21500 block, 1:45 to 8:15 p.m. Jan. 11. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a house entered through a rear patio door.

Timber Ridge Terr., 21000 block, Jan. 10 to Jan. 11. A Global Positioning System device and personal documents were stolen from a vehicle.

Madturkey Run Pl., 42200 block, 5 p.m. Jan. 13 to 7 a.m. Jan. 14. A microwave oven was stolen from a house under construction entered by damaging a door.

Pamplin Terr., 42800 block, 11 a.m. Jan. 16. A wallet was among items stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

ASSAULTS

Community Plaza, 46900 block, 9:37 p.m. Jan. 15. Police responded to a report of a man with a knife threatening patrons in a restaurant. A Sterling man, 21, was charged with felony possession of a concealed weapon by a convicted felon and being drunk in public.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

Denizen Pl., 45900 block, 6:50 p.m. Jan. 10. A man wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, gray sweat pants and red high-top shoes exposed himself to two women at a fast-food restaurant.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Fathom Pl., 47000 block, 12:55 p.m. Jan. 12. Sports equipment was stolen from a vehicle.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Old Ox Rd., 43300 block, 9 a.m. Jan. 15 to 3 p.m. Jan. 16. A 1999 BMW was stolen from a business.

VANDALISM

Huntington Sq., 21200 block, 5 to 5:20 a.m. Jan. 11. An apartment was entered and property was damaged.
