ASHBURN AREA
ASSAULTS

Truro Parish Dr., 42800 block, 6:25 p.m. Feb. 5. Three people were in a vehicle that stopped at a drive-through window at a business. One of the occupants discharged a BB gun, striking an employee. The employee, a Dumfries man, 22, declined medical treatment.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Ashburn Rd., 20600 block, 6 p.m. Feb. 4 to 6 a.m. Feb. 5. A bag containing clothing and tools was stolen from a vehicle.

Ashburn Village Blvd. and Fincastle Dr., 4 p.m. Feb. 4 to 5:50 a.m. Feb. 5. Tools were stolen from a van entered by damaging a window. Another van was also entered by damaging a window; nothing was reported missing.

Bronte Pl., 21600 block, Jan. 21 to Jan. 31. Mail was stolen from a mailbox at a residence. Checks from the mailbox were altered and cashed.

Tioga Terr., 21000 block, 3 p.m. Feb. 4. Two parcels were stolen from a residence. The boxes were later found nearby and were missing some items.

VANDALISM

Regal Wood Dr., 42300 block, 3:30 to 6 p.m. Feb. 6. A wall at a parking garage was spray-painted with graffiti.

Barnfield Sq., 300 block, 10:45 a.m. Feb. 5. A domestic assault was reported.

Clubhouse Dr., 100 block, 3:03 p.m. Feb. 4. A domestic assault was reported.

Constellation Sq., 500 block, 9:14 p.m. Jan. 31. A domestic assault was reported.

Edwards Ferry Rd., 1300 block, 2:12 p.m. Jan. 31. Stalking was reported.

Edwards Ferry Rd., 900 block, 10:20 p.m. Feb. 1. Threats were reported.

Fort Evans Rd., unit block, 9:25 p.m. Feb. 3. A domestic assault was reported.

Harry F. Byrd Hwy. and Dry Mill Rd., 10:42 a.m. Feb. 5. An assault was reported.

Hawks View Sq., 200 block, 6:10 p.m. Feb. 1. A domestic assault was reported.

Appletree Dr., 100 block, 3:49 p.m. Feb. 2. A theft was reported.

Catoctin Cir., unit block, 10:13 a.m. Feb. 5. Credit card fraud was reported.

Cypress Ridge Terr., 19300 block, noon Dec. 5. A resident got a call from someone claiming to be the resident’s granddaughter. The caller said she had been arrested and needed money to be released from police custody. The resident did not provide any money or personal information.

Ashbury Church Rd., 15200 block, 6 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 31. Cash and a camera were stolen from a barn.

Charles Town Pike, 37000 block, 4 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 31. Cash was taken from a business entered by damaging a door.

Gaver Mill Rd., 36900 block, 6 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 31. A digital camera was stolen from a vehicle.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Shaler St., 42800 block, 9:56 p.m. Feb. 5. A resident received a call from someone claiming to be from the IRS. The caller said that the resident owed back taxes and that a family member would be arrested unless payment was made. The resident bought money cards for the caller.

ROBBERIES

Cedar Lake Plaza, 46900 block, 12:46 to 12:47 p.m. Feb. 4. A man entered a bank, implied that he had a weapon and demanded cash.

ASSAULTS

Carolina Ct. and Cottage Rd., 9:25 p.m. Feb. 3. A man was assaulted by an acquaintance.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Amelia St. N., 800 block, noon Jan. 30 to 8:42 p.m. Feb. 4. Power tools and car stereo equipment were stolen from a vehicle.

Newman Ct., 300 block, 8 p.m. Jan. 31 to noon Feb. 1. A gun was stolen from a vehicle.

Tottenham Ct., 1000 block, 10 p.m. Feb. 5 to 6 a.m. Feb. 6. A laptop computer and a tablet computer were stolen from a residence.

STONE RIDGE AREA
VANDALISM

Argonne Ave. N., 300 to 500 blocks, Feb. 1 to Feb. 2. Tires on six vehicles were damaged.

Zircon Dr., 42000 block, 4:30 to 6:25 p.m. Feb. 6. A vehicle was spray-painted.
