THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Crabtree Ct., 24100 block, 5 p.m. July 1 to 8 a.m. July 2. Packages of roof shingles were stolen from a house under construction.

PEEPING TOM INCIDENT

Blue Elder Terr., 22700 block, 9 p.m. July 8. A man looked through a patio door.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Fieldthorn Terr., 21800 block, 1 to 9 a.m. July 3. Items were missing from a home after a party.

Fowlers Mill Cir., 20900 block, 6 p.m. July 7 to 7:40 a.m. July 8. Three unlocked vehicles were searched. Nothing was reported missing.

Harlow Meadows and Jenkins Leaf terraces, 9:50 a.m. July 7. An appliance was stolen from a house under construction.

Ryan Park Terr., 21700 block, 7 to 7:05 p.m. July 9. A wallet and other items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Silkworth Terr., 44200 block, 8:30 a.m. to noon July 5. A residence was entered and searched.

Tobacco Sq., 20900 block, 9 p.m. July 7 to 6 a.m. July 8. Cash and a document were taken from an unlocked vehicle, and cash and a wallet were stolen from another vehicle.

VANDALISM

Dragons Green St., 21700 block, 6:45 to 8 p.m. July 7. A garage door was vandalized.

Coppermine Sq., 19400 block, 4:42 to 5 p.m. July 1. A resident received a fraudulent call from someone who said that the resident owed money fo outstanding traffic tickets failure to appear in court. The intended victim did not provide information or money.

Edwards Ferry Rd., 800 block, 2:41 p.m. July 7. A theft from a vehicle was reported.

S. King St., 600 block, 6:14 p.m. July 9. Fraud was reported.

Stable View Terr., 300 block, 2:50 p.m. July 7. A theft was reported.

Market St., 600 block, 10:20 a.m. July 9. A theft was reported.

Warbler Sq., 43600 block, 3:25 to 3:40 p.m. July 1. A resident received a fraudulent call from someone who said that the resident owed money for outstanding traffic tickets and failure to appear in court and that a prepaid credit card could be used. The resident did not provide money.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Harpers Ferry Rd., 11100 block, 6 p.m. June 29 to 6 p.m. July 6. An all-terrain vehicle and other property were stolen from a shed.

STERLING AREA
PEEPING TOM INCIDENT

Glenbrook Terr., 20500 block, 10:30 to 10:35 p.m. July 1. A man looked through a window of a home.

Howard Pl., 1 to 100 block, 1:30 to 5:48 a.m. July 2. Cash, tools and other items were taken from an unlocked vehicle.

Woodgate Ct., 100 block, 10 p.m. July 1 to 7 a.m. July 2. A purse that was stolen from an unlocked vehicle was discarded near Greenfield Court.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Ashcroft Terr., 20300 block, 8:30 a.m. July 5 to 10 a.m. July 6. A backpack that was stolen from a vehicle was found discarded nearby; a cellphone was missing from it.

Dulles Eastern Plaza, 45500 block, 1:15 p.m. July 3. Cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Kenai Ct., 43600 block, noon May 5 to noon July 3. A resident received a fraudulent call from someone claiming that the resident had won cash and prizes but had to pay taxes before receiving them. The resident was told to use a prepaid credit card. The resident was contacted several times and gave up money each time.

S. Sterling Blvd., 600 block, 7 p.m. July 3 to 3:45 a.m. July 4. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence.

Yorktown Rd., 10300 block, July 5 or 6. A Global Positioning System device and other items were taken from an unlocked vehicle.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Emerald Point Terr., 20600 block, 6 p.m. July 9 to 7:30 p.m. July 10. A 2005 Toyota RAV4 was stolen.

VANDALISM

Freeport Pl. and Lennoxville Way, 10 p.m. July 4 to 5 a.m. July 5. A playground was vandalized.
