Blueridge Meadows Dr., 44500 block, 2 p.m. July 27. Jewelry was stolen from a house entered by forcing a front door.

Yellowbloom Ct., 20800 block, 5:05p.m. July 29. A resident received a phone call from someone claiming to be a debt collector. The caller attempted to get credit card and Social Security information. No information was given.

VANDALISM

Forest Manor Dr., 25500 block, 12:45 a.m. July 31. Three vehicles in a driveway were damaged.

Riding Plaza, 25000 block, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 26. Cash was stolen from a vehicle.

Ashbury Church Rd., 15200 block, July 28 to July 29. A 1993 Ford F-350 was stolen.

ROUND HILL AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Paloma Cir., 16500 block, 9 a.m. to noon July 29. A woman received a call from someone saying that her grandson had been arrested in New Jersey. She was told she needed to wire money for her grandson to be released. She wired money to the Dominican Republic. She then received a call from someone claiming to be from a public defender’s office asking for additional money. The woman complied again. She later learned that the calls were fraudulent.

STERLING AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Community Plaza, 47100 block, 1:20 to 1:56 p.m. July 27. A man approached a woman in a grocery store and asked about a product. The woman later realized her wallet had been stolen after she was contacted by her bank advising her of possible fraud. Her credit cards were used to make purchases at several stores.

Millard Ct., unit block, 3 p.m. July 27 to 7:10 a.m. July 28. An MP3 player and sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
