Applying for town jobs has gone digital in Leesburg

Leesburg recently upgraded its employment applications to a digital process. With the new system, the town government no longer accepts employment applications by regular mail, fax or e-mail.

“The online application system will greatly improve the efficiency and work flow of the application process,” Karen Dilley, Leesburg’s human resources manager, said in a statement. “Job applicants will find the electronic process easy to use, while the process will significantly reduce the amount of paperwork required in the administration of new hires.”

Job openings and links to the application process are on the Leesburg Web site , www.leesburgva.gov/jobs.

A new customer service station in the lobby of Town Hall, 25 W. Market St., is available for job applicants to use weekdays during normal business hours.

For information about the online application process, call the Leesburg Human Resources Department at 703-777-2420.
