Michelle Obama hosts soccer clinic on South Lawn

First lady Michelle Obama hosted the U.S. women’s national soccer team at the White House on Thursday to promote physical activity and healthier eating for children.

First lady Michelle Obama joins the Anderson Monarchs Girls Soccer Club (in red) from Philadelphia and the Prince William Courage Soccer Club (in white) in a few games of soccer on the South Lawn of the White House. They played together as part of a “Let’s Move!” clinic hosted by first lady Michelle Obama and members of the U.S. women's national soccer team designed to highlight the importance of physical activity.
