Two large dogs aggressively approached a woman who was pushing her 15-month-old grandson in a stroller. The Chesapeake Bay retriever and boxer-Laborador mix barked, growled and jumped at her, one tearing her skirt with its teeth. The attack lasted approximately 20 seconds, and the canines fled. The dogs’ owner was identified, and both dogs were declared potentially dangerous. An order to muzzle the dogs was issued, and the owner was charged with two counts of allowing the dogs to be loose, a $100 fine each, and with two counts of “unwanted contact,” a $500 fine each.
