Redland Blvd., 200 block, 6:25 p.m. Sept. 9. A woman attacked an acquaintance. A 39-year-old Rockville woman was charged with aggravated assault. No serious injuries were reported.

Randolph Rd., 4400 block, 8:23 p.m. Sept. 8. A woman attacked an acquaintance. A 22-year-old District woman was charged with aggravated assault. No serious injuries were reported.

Lemay Rd., 5900 block, Sept. 5. A robbery was reported.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Crimson Leaf Ct., 8400 block, 10:30 p.m. Sept. 5 to 5:30 a.m. Sept. 6. Coins and a set of golf clubs were stolen from a vehicle.

Crimson Leaf Terr., 9400 block, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 5 to 7 a.m. Sept. 6. A vehicle break-in occurred. Nothing was reported missing.

Fishers Lane, 5600 block, Sept. 11. Two vehicle break-ins occurred in a parking garage. Nothing was reported missing.

Beech Tree and Burning Tree roads, 9:30 p.m. Sept. 7. A group of four males threatened several people with a weapon and robbed them of property.

Derbyshire and Surreywood lanes, 11 p.m. Sept. 8. Two males threatened and robbed a person.

Allen Rd., 4900 block, 2:20 p.m. Sept. 5. A purse, a laptop and a cellphone were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

Democracy Blvd., 7100 block, 6 to 6:30 a.m. Sept. 3. Property was stolen from two shopping-mall businesses entered by force.

Colgate Way, 13600 block, 9:43 a.m. Sept. 9. Two males threatened a person and demanded property, then fled empty-handed.

Glenville Rd., 8800 block, 8:15 p.m. Sept. 7. A robbery occurred. A 23-year-old Wheaton man was arrested.

Piney Branch Rd., 12:01 a.m. Sept. 9. A group of eight males threatened and robbed a person.

Valley Brook Dr. and New Hampshire Ave., 9:20 p.m. Sept. 7. A person threatened and robbed a person.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Aventurine Terr., Chalkstone Ct., Hidden Valley Dr., Hunters Gate Ct., Old Columbia Pike and Stewart Lane, Sept. 3 to 10. Tires, a TV, a DVD player, a vehicle light and a computer were among property stolen from seven vehicles. Two Silver Spring men, ages 19 and 36, were arrested.

Childress Terr., Hampton Hollow Dr., Marlow Farm Terr. and Wexhall Terr., Sept. 4 to 10. Global Positioning System units, MP3 players and clothes were among property stolen from seven vehicles.

Fidler Lane, 1200 block, 7:30 to 11 a.m. Sept. 10. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Garland Ave., 8100 block, 8:30 a.m. to 8:50 p.m. Sept. 5. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Striley Dr., 17700 block, 9 a.m. Sept. 3. Two acquaintances fought each other. No injuries were reported.

University Blvd., 2900 block, 9:45 p.m. Sept. 5. A man armed with a weapon threatened a person in a grocery store. The victim said the assailant was dressed in women’s clothing.

Hillside Dr. and Midvale Rd., 10 p.m. Sept. 9. Two males threatened several pedestrians and demanded property, then fled empty-handed.

Randolph Rd., 2300 block, 4 p.m. Sept. 3. Three males threatened and robbed a person in a parking lot at a bank.

Goshen Rd., 12:40 p.m. Sept. 5. Two people threatened and robbed a person near a fast-food restaurant.

Lost Knife Rd., 1830 block, 1:30 p.m. Sept. 7. Two teenagers threatened and robbed a pedestrian. Two Gaithersburg males, ages 16 and 17, were arrested.

Snouffer School Rd., 8500 block, 4 to 4:30 a.m. Sept. 11. Three men armed with a weapon robbed a pedestrian of property.

Canebrake Ct., 20000 block, 3 to 5 p.m. Sept. 4. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force. Nothing was reported missing.

Fletcher Pl., 700 block, 6 p.m. Sept. 10 to 9:11 a.m. Sept. 11. A battery was stolen from a road-paving construction vehicle.

Frederick Ave., 200 block, noon to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 12. A washer/dryer unit was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a back door.

Frederick Rd., 15100 block, 5:30 p.m. Sept. 15. Property was stolen from a store. The theft was discovered shortly after three men had left the premises without purchasing anything.

Halpine Walk Ct., 200 block, 9 a.m. Sept. 11 to 11:59 p.m Sept. 12. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked basement door.

Horners Lane S., 500 block, 4:30 p.m. Sept. 12 to 8:30 a.m. Sept. 13. An iPod was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Hungerford Dr., 200 block, 11:17 to 11:25 a.m. Sept. 13. A cellphone was stolen from a counter at a store.

Hungerford Dr., 300 block, 8:26 p.m. Sept. 10. A 57-year-old woman was charged with theft.

Longwood Rd., 500 block, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 12. A GPS was stolen from a vehicle.

Redland Rd., 400 block, 5:59 p.m. Sept. 14. A man put merchandise into grocery bags, then walked out of a store, where he was confronted by an employee. After making threats, he fled the area on foot.

Rockville Pike, 1500 block, 12:49 p.m. Sept. 10. Cosmetics items were stolen from a store. A man wearing a baseball cap and a woman wearing sunglasses were seen fleeing with the property.

Rockville Pike, 1600 block, 1:28 p.m. Sept. 15. Three females entered a store. While one argued with an employee, the other two grabbed several articles of clothing. The three then ran from the store and fled in a gray SUV.

Smallwood Rd., 600 block, 6 p.m. Sept. 14 to 10 a.m. Sept. 15. Cash was stolen from a vehicle.

Twinbrook Pkwy., 1900 block, 9:20 p.m. Sept. 13. A 52-year-old man was charged with theft.

Veirs Mill Rd., 2000 block, 6:05 p.m. Sept. 12. A theft occurred. At 8:28 a.m. Sept. 14, a 17-year-old male was arrested in connection with the incident. Charges included theft and conspiracy to commit theft.

First St., 1000 block, 7 p. m. Sept. 11 to 6:3o p.m. Sept. 12. Two GPS units, climbing equipment and a chainsaw were among property stolen from two vehicles

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Edmonston Dr., 1200 block, 5:11 a.m. Sept. 13. A vehicle was stolen from an occupied residence using keys taken in a room that was entered by removing a window screen.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Holly Ave., 7400 block, 5:03 p.m. Sept. 14. A white 2000 Dodge Stratus was stolen from a parking space on the street. It was recovered in the District the same day.
