Halpine Rd., 100 block, 4:59 p.m. Sept. 12. Two acquaintances fought each other. A 30-year-old Rockville man was charged with aggravated assault.

Little Creek Dr., 12100 block, 11:30 a.m. Sept. 17. Two acquaintances fought each other.

Rockville Pike, 12000 block, 7:50 a.m. Sept. 13. During an argument in front of a coffee shop, a male attacked an acquaintance.

Lockwood Dr., 11600 block, 12:40 a.m. Sept. 10. Two acquaintances fought each other. No injuries were reported.

ROBBERIES

Lockwood Dr., 11600 block, 12:49 p.m. Sept. 11. A man threatened a person and demanded property, then fled empty-handed.

New Hampshire Ave. and Jackson Rd., 9 p.m. Sept. 14. Two males threatened and robbed a pedestrian. A 17-year-old Burtonsville male and an 18-year-old Silver Spring man were arrested. The two assailants also were charged in the armed robbery of a person in the 200 block of Valleybrook Drive at 8:50 p.m.

Old Columbia Pike, 15500 block, 2:35 a.m. Sept. 19. Two males wearing masks and armed with a weapon robbed a person at a fast-food restaurant.

Piney Branch Rd., 8600 block, 8:45 p.m. Sept. 15. A group of five males threatened and robbed a pedestrian.

Wayne Ave., 900 block, 9:35 p.m. Sept. 18. Two men threatened and robbed a person at a beer-and-wine store.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Beacon Rd., 600 block, 9:32 p.m. Sept. 11. A break-in occurred at a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Braddock Rd., Childs St., Dallas Ave., Dennis Ave., Gilmoure Dr., Hedin Dr., Huntwood Dr., Lockwood Dr., Neale Ave., Oakwood St. and Pinedale Dr., Sept. 10 to 16. Stereo systems, cellphones, GPS units and wallets were among property stolen from vehicles.

Columbia Pike, 11700 block, 3 p.m. Sept. 11 to 11:50 a.m. Sept. 13. Property was stolen from a storage room at an apartment complex.

December Way, 11400 block, 9:57 p.m. Sept. 11. A break-in occurred at a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Norwood Rd., 300 block, 11:30 a.m. Sept. 5. A male threatened a person and demanded property. A 17-year-old Burtonsville male was arrested.

Upton Dr., 3000 block, 2:30 p.m. Sept. 12. A group of four males threatened and robbed a pedestrian. Two 15-year-old Wheaton males, a 15-year-old Kensington male and a 15-year-old Silver Spring male were arrested.

Veirs Mill Rd., 11100 block, 10 p.m. Sept. 12. A man threatened and robbed a person outside a shopping mall. A 22-year-old Silver Spring man was arrested.

Georgia Ave., 14200 block, noon Sept. 10. A man tried to break into a residence. A 46-year-old Silver Spring man was arrested.

Gibbs St., 100 block, Aug. 20 to 9 a.m. Sept. 19. A wallet, cash, a passport and a birth certificate were among property stolen from an apartment.

Halpine Rd. and Alsace Dr., 7 a.m. Sept. 18 to 7 a.m. Sept. 19. Twenty iron water-line fittings were stolen from a storage area at business.

Old Creek Ct., unit block, 10 p.m. Sept. 16 to 10 a.m. Sept. 17. Four watches and cash were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Rockville Pike, 700 block, 6:05 to 6:38 p.m. Sept. 22. A wallet was stolen from a woman at a business.

Rockville Pike, 1100 block, 6:30 p.m. Sept. 21 to 8:22 a.m. Sept. 22. A vehicle was stolen from a business entered by forcing a garage door.

Maple Ave., 7600 block, 10:50 a.m. Sept. 25. A male robbed a store of cash at gunpoint, then fled to a waiting vehicle driven by an accomplice.

New Hampshire Ave., 6300 block, 6:30 p.m. Sept. 24. A 42-year-old man was arrested on robbery and related charges.

University Blvd., 1100 block, 6:58 p.m. Sept. 24. A gunman robbed a motorist of property as he was getting out of a vehicle. During the incident, a single shot was fired, slightly injuring the motorist.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Central Ave., 7200 block, 2:53 p.m. Sept. 21. An unlocked vehicle was entered.

Laurel Ave., 6900 block, 10:31 a.m. Sept. 23. A backpack was stolen from a person who had left it unattended.

Maple Ave., 7500 block, 7:05 a.m. Sept. 24. Cash was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.

New Hampshire Ave., 6300 block, 4:27 p.m. Sept. 25. A purse was stolen from a vehicle while the motorist was pumping gas.

Fifth Ave., 6400 block, 11:19 p.m. Sept. 23. A laptop computer and a camera were stolen during a party at a residence.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Jefferson Ave., unit block, 7:24 a.m. Sept. 24. A green 2002 Ford Taurus was stolen using keys that had been left inside.

New Hampshire Ave., 7400 block, noon Sept. 21. Four males forced their way into a motel room and robbed a man at gunpoint. They fled in the victim’s vehicle.

New Hampshire Ave., 7600 block, 12:07 p.m. Sept. 24. A black tow truck was stolen from a parking lot.
