February Cir., Gracefield Rd., Herrington Manor Dr., O’Fallon St., Old Columbia Pike and Shanandale Dr., Oct. 18 to 21. Computers, a Global Positioning System device, purses, an iPod, an airbag and sunglasses were among property stolen from nine vehicles entered by force.

Kingswell Dr., 2900 block, 2:50 p.m. Oct. 23. A male armed with a weapon robbed a person of property, then fled with a male accomplice.

University Blvd., 2900 block, 3:45 a.m. Oct. 21. Two males threatened and robbed a person in a parking lot at a grocery store.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Damascus Rd., 5600 block, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 17. Property was stolen from two residences entered by force.

Dovedale Way, 13300 block, 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22. A residence was entered by force. An 18-year-old Germantown man was arrested.

Peach Tree Rd., 21800 block, 6 p.m. Oct. 15 to 2 p.m. Oct. 17. Property was stolen from two sheds entered by force at a school.

Spinning Wheel Dr. and Spinning Wheel Pl., Oct. 15 to 23. A bulletproof vest, a pellet gun and coins were among property stolen from several unlocked vehicles.

Capehart Dr., 19100 block, 12:45 a.m. Oct. 18. Property was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. A 22-year-old Gaithersburg woman was arrested.

WEAPONS OFFENSES

MacArthur Dr. and Charles St., 4:01 p.m. Oct. 24. During an arrest of a 34-year-old man on narcotics violations, a 29-year-old man was charged with illegal possession of a firearm.

ASSAULTS

Baltimore Rd., 800 block, 10:25 p.m. Oct. 22. Three men followed a man leaving a restaurant, then attacked him as he was getting into a vehicle. The victim sustained stab wounds during the incident.

Jefferson Pl. and Fleet St., 6:38 p.m. Oct. 23. A 41-year-old man was arrested for failure to obey a lawful order and for hindering and obstructing a police investigation.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Alsace Lane, unit block, 5 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Oct. 25. A bicycle was stolen from an unlocked shed at a residence.

Glenora Lane, 2800 block, 2:33 a.m. Oct. 25. A 20-year-old man was arrested on charges of theft and rogue and vagabond.

Research Blvd., 1400 block, 6:25 p.m. Oct. 22 to 6:42 a.m. Oct. 23. Five laptop computers were stolen from a business.

Richard Montgomery Dr., 200 block, 11 to 11:20 a.m. Oct. 25. A cellphone was stolen from a backpack at a school.

Woodland Rd., 200 block, noon to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 23. A residence was entered by forcing a basement door.

ROBBERIES

Conway Ave., 6700 block, 4:15 p.m. Oct. 26. Two males abandoned a vehicle and forced a motorist from a vehicle at gunpoint, then fled in the victim’s vehicle. The males had tried to rob an armored truck in the 1300 block of University Boulevard a few minutes earlier. Gunfire had been exchanged with a guard in that incident, but no injuries were reported. The carjacking victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Hudson Ave., 700 block, 7:15 a.m. Oct. 26. A 14-year-old female was charged with theft valued at less than $500.

Jefferson Ave., unit block, 9:17 a.m. Oct. 26. Property was stolen from a residence entered by prying open a window.

New Hampshire Ave., 6300 block, 10:36 a.m. Oct. 26. A male got out of a vehicle in a gas station and took a purse from a vehicle as a motorist pumped gas. The male fled in the vehicle driven by a male accomplice.

New Hampshire Ave., 7600 block, 12:28 p.m. Oct. 27. A male stole merchandise from a liquor store.

Roanoke Ave., 8300 block, 1:05 a.m. Oct. 31. A break-in occurred at a vacant apartment. An 18-year-old woman and two men, ages 19 and 21, were arrested.

Tulip Ave., 300 block, 11:08 p.m. Oct. 26. A business was entered by force.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

New Hampshire Ave., 7400 block, 12:47 a.m. Oct. 29. An attempt was made to steal a vehicle.
