ASSAULTS

Bradley Ave., 1600 block, May 27 to June 4. A 50-year-old woman was arrested for assaulting an acquaintance.

Elmcroft Blvd., 500 block, 8:37 p.m. June 2. A 45-year-old Rockville man was arrested for assaulting an acquaintance.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Besley Ct., 5500 block, 9:10 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. May 31. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Blue Ash Way, 14100 block, 5:30 p.m. June 2. An attempt was made to enter a residence.

Cabin John Pkwy., 700 block, May 28 to 30. Cash was stolen from a vehicle.

Chase Crossing Cir., 12000 block, 8:05 p.m. May 28 to 8:05 a.m. May 29. Several poker chips and two pairs of sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Chase Crossing Cir., 12000 block, 11:30 p.m. May 28 to 9 a.m. May 29. A duffle bag and three pairs of sunglasses were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

Chase Crossing Cir, 12000 block, 1:30 to 6:30 a.m. May 29. A GPS unit, a pair of sunglasses, a bottle of perfume and a jacket were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

Halpine Rd., 5900 block, 5 p.m. May 27 to 10:30 a.m. May 28. Property was stolen from a business entered by force.

Linthicum St., 600 block, 4:30 a.m. May 30. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Montrose Rd., 5900 block, 10 p.m. May 28 to 6:30 a.m. May 29. A backpack and duffle bag with clothing, sunglasses and coffee mugs were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

Seneca Rd., 14100 block 2:10 a.m. May 30. Property was stolen from a pizzeria. There was no sign of forced entry.

Silver Bell Terr., 10200 block, 3 to 7 a.m. June 2. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Twinbrook Pkwy., 12900 block, 5 p.m. May 29 to 9:25 a.m. May 30. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Lemay Rd., 5900 block, 10:30 p.m. June 3 to 6:30 a.m. June 4. Eleven dirt bikes were stolen.

Parkvale Rd., 14500 block, 8:20 a.m. May 29 to 2:01 a.m. May 30. A vehicle was stolen. A 19-year-old Rockville man was arrested.

Veirs Mill Rd., 900 block, 3:15 to 11 a.m. May 31. A vehicle was stolen.

SEXUAL ASSAULT

Tech Rd. and Industrial Pkwy., 5:30 a.m. June 1. Three males sexually assaulted a person at a bus stop. One of the males is described as having a chipped front tooth.

16th St., 8400 block, 2:16 p.m. May 29. A male touched a person inappropriately and fled.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

Wayne Ave., 900 block, May 26 to June 4. A man exposed himself to a woman in an elevator at a parking garage.

ROBBERIES

Arliss St., 8700 block, 5:07 p.m. May 28. A robbery occurred.

Flowers Ave., 8600 block, 5:33 p.m. June 3. A 21-year-old Silver Spring man forcefully took property from a person and was arrested for strong-arm robbery.

University Blvd., 800 block, 8:54 a.m. May 27. Two males assaulted and robbed a person of property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Capliner Rd., 11600 block, 2 a.m. June 5. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Chester St., 8100 block, 6 p.m. May 31 to 1 p.m. June 1. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Chilton Circ., Deer Ridge Dr. (two incidents), Falling Creek Rd., Kathryn Rd., Marlow Rd., Mullin St., and Summerwood Dr., May 27 to June 5. Cash, jewelry, a GPS unit and an MP3 player were among items stolen from eight vehicles. Seven of them were unlocked.

Dublin Dr., 1600 block, 5:22 p.m. May 29. A break-in occurred at a residence.

Hilltop Rd., 100 block, 12:20 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 29. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Leatherwood Dr., 4300 block, 3:49 p.m. June 1. A break-in occurred at a residence. The resident knew the person involved.

Montclair Dr., 12500 block, 12:30 to 7 a.m. May 23. Property was stolen from a shed at a residence.

Oakleaf Dr., 11200 block, 6 to 10:11 p.m. June 3. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Norlee Dr., 11100 block, 7:10 a.m. May 29. A 51-year-old Silver Spring woman was arrested after she assaulted an acquaintance.

Randolph Rd., 2800 block, 4:41 a.m. June 3. A person assaulted an acquaintance.

ROBBERIES

Georgia Ave., 11300 block, 7:35 p.m. May 31. A man entered an electronics store, threatened someone with a weapon and fled with merchandise.

Postgate Terr., 4000 block, 2:47 p.m. May 29. An attempted armed robbery occurred. A 17-year-old Wheaton male was arrested.

Veirs Mill Rd., 11000 block, 9:27 p.m. May 27. Three men assaulted and robbed a person of property in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant.

Veirs Mill Rd., 11000 block, 1:45 a.m. May 31. A person was assaulted and robbed of property. A 21-year-old Olney man, a 25-year-old Silver Spring woman and a 16-year-old District female were arrested.

Winexburg Manor, 1900 block, 1:30 p.m. May 28. A 15-year-old Germantown male was arrested for threatening someone with a weapon and taking property.

Arcola Ave., 1700 block, 6:45 a.m. May 31. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Bel Pre Rd., 2900 block, 10 p.m. to midnight June 1. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Bel Pre Rd., 3600 block, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 24. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Buehler Rd., 17300 block, Cherry Valley Dr., 4400 block and Powder House Dr., 4700 block, May 31 to June 2. Purses, GPS units and cash were among items stolen from six vehicles. At least three of them were entered by force.

Ladd St., 1700 block, 9 a.m. to 2:44 p.m. May 29. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Layhill Rd., 12600 block, 10:37 p.m. June 1. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Olney-Sandy Spring Rd., 2800 block, 10:24 to 10:38 p.m. June 3. A thrift shop was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

Selfridge Rd., 12200 block, 7 to 11:45 a.m. June 3. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Weller Rd., 4100 block, April 12 to May 27. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Main St., 9800 block, 6 p.m. May 30 to 8 a.m. June 3. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Woodfield Rd., 25700 block, May 31. A break-in occurred at a community pool. There was no sign of forced entry and nothing was reported missing.

ASSAULTS

Lost Knife Rd., 9600 block, 1:53 a.m. June 2. A 30-year-old Gaithersburg man assaulted an acquaintance outside a restaurant and was arrested.

Lost Knife Rd., 18400 block, 5 a.m. June 2. A 34-year-old Montgomery Village man assaulted an acquaintance and was arrested.

ROBBERIES

Lost Knife and Contour roads, 9:30 p.m. May 30. Five males assaulted and attempted to rob a person of property.

Watkins Mill and Club Lake roads, 1 a.m. June 4. A strong-arm robbery occurred near the intersection.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Montgomery Village Ave., 19100 block, 9 to 10:05 p.m. May 30. Property was stolen from a business entered by force.

Perry Pkwy., 600 block, 9 p.m. May 29 to 10:30 a.m. June 30. A television, an iPod, a laptop and a GPS unit were stolen from two vehicles at a hotel. One of them was entered by force and the other was unlocked.

Waring Wood Way, 21000 block, 5:30 a.m. to 3:34 p.m. June 3. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

ASSAULTS

Bradley Ave., 1600 block, 3:01 to 3:30 p.m. June 4. A 50-year-old woman was arrested for first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault, resisting arrest and possession of a dangerous weapon (a knife) with intent to injure.

Marshall Ave., 1600 block, 12:21 a.m. June 3. A 34-year-old man was arrested for first- and second-degree assault.

Oak Knoll Terr., 300 block, 5:38 p.m. June 3. A 25-year-old man was arrested for second-degree assault, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, failing to obey a lawful order and two counts of obstructing and hindering a police investigation.

ROBBERIES

Fishers Lane, 5700 block, 9 to 9:27 a.m. June 6. A woman entered a bank and passed a bag and a note to a clerk through a window. She demanded cash and threatened bodily harm if the teller did not comply. The employee showed the woman that the cash drawer was empty and handed the note and bag back to the woman, who fled in an unknown direction. The woman is described as wearing a long black head wrap with a black-and-white snake pattern on it.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Avery Rd., 14500 block, 10 to 11 a.m. June 7. A woman reported her cellphone had been pickpocketed.

Farragut Ave., 400 block, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. June 6. Electronics, cash and a watch were stolen from a residence.

Lews Ave., 1600 block, 9:49 a.m. May 13 to 9 a.m. June 9. A vacant house was entered by force through the front and rear doors. Nothing was reported missing.

McAuliffe Dr., 1700 block, 3:18 to 3:19 a.m. June 9. An attempt was made to open an unlocked window at a residence, but a security alarm sounded and the person fled.

Rockville Pike, 1600 block, 2:05 to 2:27 p.m. May 21. A female entered a business, placed several cosmetic items in a large purple bag and fled the store without paying for them.

Stonestreet Ave. N., 200 block, 9:40 p.m. June 8 to 2:10 p.m. June 8. A cellphone was stolen from a locker at a shelter.

Veirs Mill Rd., 1900 block, 8:40 to 8:45 p.m. June 5. A male entered a business, loaded a grocery cart with bottles of laundry detergent and left the store without paying for them. The male fled in a gold Toyota sedan with Maryland tags.

Wade Ave., 900 block, midnight to 6 a.m. June 5. A break-in occurred at a residence by using a ladder in the rear and climbing in through an unlocked window. Electronics, cash, a wallet and a backpack were among items stolen.

OTHER ARRESTS

Hungerford Dr., 700 block, 4:30 p.m. June 8. A 40-year-old man was arrested for obstructing and hindering a police investigation, disorderly conduct, making a false statement to a police officer and interfering/resisting arrest.

Linden Ave., 1100 block, 2:31 p.m. June 10. A 19-year-old man was arrested for assaulting a male during a domestic argument.

Roanoke Ave., 8100 block, 2:01 p.m. June 12. A 50-year-old woman was arrested for assaulting a female during an argument.

ROBBERIES

New Hampshire Ave., 7400 block, 9:18 p.m. June 7. Two males accosted a man at knifepoint as he talked on his cellphone outside a hotel room. They demanded property; after he complied, the males fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Baltimore Ave., 7300 block, 6:05 a.m. June 12. Property was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

Linden Ave., 1100 block, 10 a.m. June 11. An apartment was entered and property was stolen. Two 17-year-old males were arrested and charged with burglary, theft under $10,000, and destruction of property.

New Hampshire Ave., 7600 block, 5:20 p.m. June 8. A man accosted a male pedestrian in a parking lot, took his wristwatch and fled toward University Boulevard.

University Blvd., 1100 block, 11:54 a.m. June 8. A female was seen taking an unattended cellphone from a table at a business, then fleeing.
