THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Halpine Pl., 5500 block, 10:50 p.m. Aug. 1. A man attempted to break into an acquaintance’s home. A Rockville man, 25, was arrested.

Long Pine Trial, 11200 block, 6 a.m. Aug. 4. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Shining Willow Dr., 10200 block, 2:58 to 3:37 a.m. Aug. 3. A home was entered by force. Nothing was reported stolen.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Besley Ct., 5500 block, Aug. 1 to Aug. 2. A vehicle was stolen.

Veirs Mill Rd., 1100 block, 1 to 5 a.m. July 30. A vehicle was stolen.

16th St., 8600 block, 3:15 p.m. Aug. 5. A carjacking occurred.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Allen Terr., 5100 block, July 31 to Aug. 1. An elementary school was entered.

Allen Rd., 4900 block, 12:30 to 2 p.m. July 31. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Battery Lane, 4900 block, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 5. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force. Nothing was stolen.

Bradley Blvd., 7600 block, Aug. 1. Property was stolen from a country club entered by force.

Burning Tree Rd., 9300 block, 8:15 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. Aug. 2. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Chestnut St., 4500 block, July 31 to Aug. 2. Electronics were stolen from two unlocked vehicles.

East-west Hwy., 1900 block, July 30 to Aug. 2. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Security Lane, 5500 block, Aug. 2 to Aug. 5. Property was stolen from two businesses entered by force.

Lockwood Dr., 11300 block, 2:50 p.m. Aug. 1. A male threatened a person and took property.

Old Columbia Pike, 11500 block, 9:25 p.m. Aug. 2. Three males assaulted a person and took property.

Piney Branch Rd., 8500 block, 12:44 a.m. Aug. 2. A male assaulted a person and took property.

Plum Orchard Dr., 12000 block, 2:25 p.m. July 31. Two males threatened a person with a weapon and took property.

E. Randolph and Serpentine Way, 5:45 a.m. Aug. 6. Two males assaulted and robbed a person.

Second Ave., 8500 block, 9:43 p.m. July 30. A male and a female assaulted and robbed a person.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bartholomew Ct., 1700 block, 4 a.m. Aug. 5. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Bonifant St., Ellsworth Drive, Wayne Ave. and Georgia Ave., July 31 to Aug. 4. Seven thefts from vehicles occurred. Six were at county parking garages, mostly during evening hours. Cash, clothing, cellphones and GPS devices were stolen.

Castle Blvd., 14100 block, 6 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 6. Property was stolen from a residence.

Castleleigh Rd., 3100 block, 5 p.m. July 31 to 1:20 a.m. Aug. 1. Property was stolen from a home entered by force.

Cody Dr., 1700 block, 4 p.m. Aug. 2 to 1:52 p.m. Aug. 4. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was stolen.

Dilston Rd., 1500 block, 12:10 a.m. Aug. 3. An attempt was made to gain entry to a home.

Easley St., 800 block, 1:38 p.m. July 30. A residential burglary was reported.

Georgia Ave., 9300 block, 6:42 p.m. Aug. 3. A male wearing a mask robbed a club with a weapon.

Collingwood Dr., 13100 block, 6:52 p.m. Aug. 1. A residential burglary occurred.

Crestline Dr., Castle Cliff Pl. and Collingwood Dr., July 31. Property was stolen from three vehicles, all of which were unlocked. One of the vehicles was stolen; that vehicle had a spare key inside.

Georgia Ave., 14300 block, 8:10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. July 29. Property was stolen from a residence.

Glenallen Ave., 2200 block, July 29 to July 30. A vehicle part was stolen from a vehicle.

Good Hope Dr., 900 block, 1:44 p.m. Aug. 6. A residential burglary occurred.

Sweet Shrub Dr., 22700 block, 8 a.m. Aug. 3 to 5 p.m. Aug. 4. Building supplies were stolen from a construction site.

Welsh Rd., 24200 block, 3 a.m. Aug. 3. Property was damaged at a residence entered by force. A Gaithersburg man, 22, was arrested.

Wisteria Dr., 13200 block, 1:40 a.m. Aug. 6. An attempt was made to forcibly enter a liquor store.

Shady Grove Rd., 16000 block, 11:43 p.m. Aug. 4. A male took property from a fast-food restaurant.

Sterling Dr., 15400 block, 6:41 p.m. Aug. 3. A residential burglary occurred.

Torran Rocks Way and Kildonan Dr., 8:30 p.m. Aug. 4 and 3 p.m. Aug. 5. Purses, credit cards, cash and a GPS device were stolen in two thefts from vehicles entered without force.
