Elsdale Ct., 13100 block, 9:30 p.m. Aug. 6. A male was seen peeking into a window at a residence.

Crawford Dr., 5700 block, 11:09 p.m. Aug. 13. Five men assaulted several people.

ROBBERIES

Longwood Dr., 700 block, 7:07 p.m. Aug. 9. A 21-year-old Rockville man with a weapon was arrested after he threatened and robbed a person of property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Derwood Cir., 200 block, 9:35 p.m. Aug. 7 to 3:15 p.m. Aug. 8. An attempt was made to enter a business by force.

Falls Rd., 10800 block, 9:30 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. Aug. 10. Credit cards were stolen from a vehicle parked at a golf course.

Fisher Ave., 20100 block, 8:30 p.m. Aug. 7 to 10:45 a.m. Aug. 8. A community pool was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

Fisher Ave., 20100 block, Aug. 13 to 14. A community pool was entered twice. No further information was available.

Grand Champion Dr., 800 block, 8 p.m. Aug. 8 to 8:30 a.m. Aug. 9. Property was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Folkstone Rd., 5600 block, 6:46 a.m. Aug. 11. A break-in occurred at a residence. There was no sign of forced entry, and nothing was reported missing.

Kentbury Dr., 8200 block, 3:13 a.m. Aug. 6. Jewelry and cash were stolen from a vehicle. Two Rockville men, ages 18 and 22, were arrested.

Quincy St., 100 block, Aug. 7 to 8. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Tuckerman Lane, 5400 block, Aug. 11 to 13. A storage unit was entered by force at a residence. Nothing was reported missing.

River Rd., 7400 block, Aug. 6 to 7. Property was stolen from a business entered by force.

Willard and N. Park avenues, Aug. 6 to 12. Laptops, cash, phones and IDs were stolen from three vehicles entered by force.

Spring St., 1000 block, 3:17 p.m. Aug. 12. A 17-year-old Silver Spring male was arrested after he threatened someone with a weapon and took property.

Van Horn Way, 3600 block, 9:03 p.m. Aug. 8. Four males with a weapon threatened and robbed a person of property.

16th St., 8600 block, 2:50 a.m. Aug. 10. A male assaulted and robbed someone of property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Avenel Rd., Dalton Rd., Legato Terr., Lockwood Dr., Moffett Rd., Oak Leaf Dr., and Prelude Dr., Aug. 6 to 13. Cash, an airbag, a GPS unit, a computer, a purse, and several cellphones were among items stolen from seven vehicles. Three vehicles were unlocked.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Brandermill Dr. and Hawks Ridge Terr., 5 p.m. Aug. 8 to 7 a.m. Aug. 9. A vehicle was stolen. The key was left inside. Two Germantown males, 16 and 21, and a Silver Spring male, 17, were arrested.

Congressional Lane, 200 block, 2 a.m. Aug. 20. A 19-year-old man was arrested for theft.

Fishers Lane, 5700 block, 4:29 to 4:35 p.m. Aug. 23. A man carrying a black backpack entered a business and fled with a dispenser containing cash.

Goldsborough Dr., 600 block, 4 p.m. Aug. 22 to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 24. Copper pipes were stolen from a residence undergoing renovation. Entry was made through an unlocked window.

Montgomery Ave. W., 100 block, 1:15 to 1:46 p.m. Aug. 18. A laptop computer, cash, a cellphone, a projector and two microphones were stolen from a church entered through an unlocked door.

Shady Grove Rd., 14900 block, 2:22 p.m. Aug. 22. A 16-year-old male was arrested for theft.

Watkins Cir., 300 block, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 22. A GPS unit and loose change were stolen from a vehicle.

Wootton Pkwy., 2400 block, 9 to 11:46 a.m. Aug. 19. An HVAC recovery machine and various hand tools were stolen from a work vehicle.

Veirs Mill Rd., 2100 block, 1:20 to 1:28 a.m. Aug. 21. Cash, a cellphone, several cellphone cases, a laptop computer and cigars were stolen from two businesses entered by force through the front glass doors. Police suspect three men.

OTHER ARRESTS

Veirs Mill Rd., 200 block, 7:29 p.m. Aug. 21. A 43-year-old man was arrested for obstructing and hindering a police investigation, making false statements to a police officer, consuming an alcoholic beverage at a retail establishment, possession of an open container at a retail establishment, intoxicated in a public place, and trespassing.

Maple Ave., 7500 block, 9:33 p.m. Aug. 27. A 29-year-old woman was arrested in connection with an open warrant charging second-degree assault.

Columbia Ave., unit block, 9:58 a.m. Aug. 29. Property was stolen from a residence entered by removing an air conditioner.

Devonshire Rd., 700 block, 5:50 p.m. Aug. 27. Property was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Ethan Allen Ave., 200 block, 4:39 a.m. Aug. 29. Two males pried open a front door to a business. They fled empty-handed.

Philadelphia Ave., 2:03 a.m. Aug. 28. A male entered a vehicle, then was interrupted and fled when the car owner confronted him. The male fled toward Holly Avenue before police arrived.
