Albermyrtle Rd., 11300 block, 10 to 11 p.m. Aug. 24. A group of six to eight males assaulted and robbed a person of property.

Darnestown Rd., 12000 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 23 to 6 a.m. Aug. 24. Property at a garden center that was left outside and unsecured was stolen.

Goldsborough Dr., 600 block, Aug. 22 to 24. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Gude Dr. E., 1200 block, 4:11 a.m. Aug. 26. Property was stolen from a gas station entered by force. A 53-year-old Rockville man was arrested.

Mockingbird Dr., 14700 block, 9:15 a.m. to 6:20 p.m. Aug. 27. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Potomac Tennis Lane, 10700 block, 7:42 p.m. Aug. 25. A man attempted to steal property from a vehicle at an assisted living center.

Powder Horn Dr., 11000 block, noon to 2 p.m. Aug. 26. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Colesville Rd., 8700 block, 5:48 p.m. Aug. 23. A strong-arm robbery occurred. A 26-year-old Lanham man was arrested.

February Cir., 11500 block, 11:42 a.m. Aug. 21. A strong-arm robbery occurred. A 23-year-old Beltsville man was arrested.

Georgia Ave., 9500 block, 6:57 p.m. Aug. 23. An armed male threatened and robbed a person of property at a gas station.

Staley Manor Dr., 1700 block, 1:47 a.m. Aug. 27. Two males with a weapon robbed a person of property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bonifant St., Cameron St., Carroll Ave., East-West Hwy., Fidler Lane, Ramsey Ave. and Wayne Ave., Aug. 19 to 26. Computers, cellphones, MP3 players, a GPS unit and a car stereo were stolen from nine vehicles in commercial garages or parking lots. Seven of them were entered by force.

Crestmoor Dr., 10600 block, 8 a.m. Aug. 23. A residence was entered by force. A 49-year-old District man was arrested.

Fairway Ave., 9700 block, 7:42 a.m. Aug. 23. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

WEAPONS ARRESTS

Connecticut Ave., 14000 block, 2:06 a.m. Aug. 20. A 25-year-old Silver Spring man was arrested for illegal possession of a weapon.

University Blvd. W., 2700 block, 9 a.m. Aug. 23. A 20-year-old Silver Spring man was arrested for illegal possession of a weapon.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Arvin and Elnora streets and Galt Ave., Aug. 22 to 23. Several GPS units, a charger, coins, a vehicle registration and a car manual were stolen from three unlocked vehicles.

Cricket Lane, 14000 block, 1:30 to 1:50 p.m. Aug. 19. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Hawkesbury Lane, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 22. Property was stolen from a vehicle near a construction site. There was no sign of forced entry.

Monty Ct., 16200 block, 2:25 a.m. Aug. 22. A break-in occurred at a residence. There was no sign of forced entry, and nothing was reported missing.

Cinnamon Dr., 18400 block, 9:20 p.m. Aug. 22 to 9:30 a.m. Aug. 23. An HOA recreation center was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

Circle Gate Dr. (two incidents,) Crystal Rock Dr. and Stoney Bottom Rd., Aug. 21 to 22. Four GPS units, two laptops and cash were stolen from four unlocked vehicles.

Cross Ridge Ct., 100 block, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 22. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Frederick Rd., 19200 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 21 to 6 a.m. Aug. 22. An attempt was made to enter a gas station by force.

Mateny Rd., 18000 block, Aug. 21. Property was stolen from a gas station entered by force.

Frederick Ave. N., 400 block, 5:06 a.m. Aug. 22. Six males assaulted and robbed a person of property.

Gallup Hill Rd., 800 block, 12:37 p.m. Aug. 22. A strong-armed robbery occurred. A 21-year-old District man and a 21-year-old Germantown man were arrested.

Russell Ave., 700 block, 2:40 a.m. Aug. 20. Four males assaulted and robbed a person in the parking lot of a retail store at a mall.

Russell Ave., 700 block, 2:15 p.m. Aug. 21. An armed robbery occurred at an athletic retail store in a mall. A 16-year-old Gaithersburg male was arrested.

Shady Grove Rd., 15800 block, 2:26 p.m. Aug. 23. A male entered a bank and passed a note to a teller demanding cash. The teller complied, and as he was leaving, a second male entered the bank, approached the teller, and passed a different note demanding cash. He received the cash and exited the bank.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Cinnabar and Kilcreggan terraces, Aug. 25 to 26. Cash, coins and a GPS unit were stolen from two vehicles. There was no sign of forced entry.

Delcris Dr. and Spring Berry Ct., 8 a.m. to Aug. 25 to 8 a.m. Aug. 26. A laptop computer, loose change and clothing were among items stolen from six vehicles. There was no sign of forced entry.

Diamond Ave. W. and Market St., 11 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. Aug. 24. Cash, jewelry, a video game console and an iPad were stolen from two vehicles. There was no sign of forced entry.

Downing St., 17100 block, 6 a.m. to 6:36 p.m. Aug. 27. A break-in occurred at a residence. Nothing was reported missing.

Kelso Terr., 8600 block, 6 a.m. to 9:03 p.m. Aug. 27. A break-in occurred at a residence. There was no sign of forced entry, and nothing was reported missing.

Carter Rd., 700 block, 9 to 11:50 p.m. Aug. 28. A windowpane in a kitchen door at a residence was broken. No entry was made.

Debeck Dr., 1000 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 28 to 2:32 a.m. Aug. 29. Electronics and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by force through a rear kitchen door.

Hungerford Dr., 300 block, 4:05 to 4:15 p.m. Aug. 27. A woman entered a store and took three cartons of cigarettes without paying for them.

Hungerford Dr., 500 block, Aug. 26. Cash, a purse, and a laptop computer were stolen from a locked vehicle.

Hungerford Dr., 600 block, 7:50 to 8:05 a.m. Aug. 29. A man entered a store and took 14 cases of soda and a bag of candy without paying for the merchandise. He fled in a black Dodge Avenger with Maryland plates.

Jefferson St. E., 1600 block, noon April 1 to 9:17 a.m. Aug. 28. A vacant apartment was entered through an unlocked balcony window. Nothing was reported missing.

Mannakee St., unit block, 2 to 2:25 p.m. Aug. 28. Three males took a backpack left in a hallway outside a bookstore on a college campus.

Ritchfield Ct., unit 8 p.m. Aug. 10 to 9:10 p.m. Aug. 18. A necklace, a bicycle and an iPod were stolen from a residence while the owner was out of town.

Rockville Pike, 1000 block, 1 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 29. Cash was stolen from a vehicle.

Rockville Pike, 1900 block, 7:01 to 7:06 p.m. Aug. 26. A male entered a store and fled with a number of cartons of cigarettes. He was last seen headed in the direction of Montrose Road.

Washington St. N., 200 block, 10:15 to 10:20 a.m. Aug. 30. Three men and a woman attempted to enter an apartment.

ASSAULTS

Cedar Ave., 7300 block, 11:37 p.m. Sept. 3. A male and a female accosted a female pedestrian while she walked from a Metro station. The male grabbed her shoulder, and the pedestrian screamed and fled. The male and female ran toward the train station.

Maple Ave., 7600 block, 11:35 p.m. Aug. 30. A 38-year-old man was arrested for having an open warrant for second-degree assault.

CARJACKING

New Hampshire Ave., 7400 block, 11:41 a.m. Aug. 31. Three males accosted a man walking to his car. One of the males pointed a knife at the man and demanded keys and property. The car’s owner complied, and the males fled in the man’s vehicle. The car was later found unoccupied.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Albany Ave., 500 block, 3:03 p.m. Aug. 31. Property was stolen from an unlocked residence.

Eastern Ave., 6400 block, 8:18 p.m. Sept. 4. Property was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

Elm Ave., 1000 block, 5:13 p.m. Sept. 2. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force through a window.
