California Cir., 6000 block, 4:47 a.m. Aug. 30. A male with a weapon threatened a person, took property and fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Alta Oaks Dr., 14200 block, 8:35 a.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 28. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Anderson Ave., 500 block, 12:10 to 9:40 a.m. Aug. 29. Property was stolen from a vehicle. There was no sign of forced entry.

Dr. Walling Rd., Munger Farm Rd. and Shores Dr., Aug. 30 to 31. A briefcase, cash, credit cards, a checkbook, sunglasses and a GPS device were stolen from four vehicles.

McKernon Way, 18400 block, 6 to 11 p.m. Sept. 1. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Smithy Ct., 10500 block, Aug. 30 to 31. Property was stolen from two vehicles.

Brookside Dr., 5800 block, 10:20 to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 30. A break-in occurred at a residence. There was no sign of forced entry, and nothing was reported missing.

East-West Hwy., 4300 block, Aug. 27 to 28. Property was stolen from a business. There was no sign of forced entry.

Kentstone Dr., 9500 block, 10:10 to 11 a.m. Aug. 28. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Lockwood Dr., 11600 block, 6:01 a.m. Sept. 1. Three males, one armed with a weapon, threatened and robbed a person.

New Hampshire Ave.,9200 block, 1 a.m. Aug. 31. Two males and a female assaulted and robbed a person.

New Hampshire Ave.,11000 block, 8:42 p.m. Aug. 28. An armed male threatened someone at a gas station and fled with property.

Bonifant St., Cameron St., East West Hwy., Fenton St., Georgia Ave., King St., Roeder Rd., Wayne Ave. and Wessex Rd., Aug. 27 to Sept. 3. Computers, cellphones, iPods, clothing, cash and luggage were stolen from 12 vehicles. Seven were entered by force. A 19-year-old Silver Spring woman and two 24-year-old Bowie men were arrested.

Columbia Pike, 11400 block, 7:10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 29. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Osborn Dr., 2200 block, 2 p.m. Sept. 1 to 7:30 a.m. Sept. 3. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

Dewey Rd., 12000 block, 5:45 p.m. Aug. 26. A 45-year-old Silver Spring man was arrested in connection with assault of an acquaintance.

University Blvd., 2700 block, 1:35 a.m. Sept. 1. An assault occurred in a parking lot at a fast-food restaurant.

Elkin St., 11500 block, 5:12 a.m. Aug. 30. Several people, one with a weapon, threatened and robbed a pedestrian.

North and Van Buren streets, 8:35 to 8:45 p.m. Aug. 15. A 14-year-old male was arrested in connection with strong-arm robbery, first- and second-degree assault and theft.

Argyle St. E., 100 block, 10 p.m. Sept. 7 to 10:45 a.m. Sept. 8. A pair of shoes, a speaker, headphones, a key, a credit card and a driver’s license were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Courthouse Sq. and Maryland Ave., 9 to 9:30 p.m. Sept. 5. A male pedestrian bumped into a female pedestrian and fled with her folder containing cash and paperwork.

Crestfield Dr., 1000 block, 8:10 to 8:15 p.m. Sept. 3. Two GPS devices and a flashlight were stolen from two unlocked vehicles in a garage. One device was recovered.

Denham Ct., unit block, 5 p.m. Aug. 30 to 7:09 p.m. Sept. 2. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by force through a basement door.

Gladstone Dr., 1200 block, 9:30 to 11:20 p.m. Sept. 4. Jewelry and a television were stolen from a residence entered by force through a basement window.

Howard Ave., 300 block, 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 3. A coat left on the front porch of a residence was stolen. A cellphone and a passport were inside the coat.

Lynch St., 100 block, 10:30 p.m. Sept. 3 to 7:30 a.m. Sept. 4. Cash and a GPS device were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Mt. Vernon Pl., 300 block, noon Sept. 1 to 9 a.m. Sept. 7. A GPS device and cash were stolen from a vehicle.

Nelson St., 800 block, 2 p.m. Aug. 24 to 2:05 p.m. Sept. 7. Silverware, a box containing clothing, and a silver serving dish were stolen from a residence entered by prying open a rear basement door.

Redland Blvd., 400 block, 4 to 5 p.m. Sept. 2. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle.

Veirs Mill Rd., 1900 block, 12:53 to 1:45 p.m. Sept. 6. A 28-year-old man was arrested in connection with theft.
