ROBBERIES

Rockville Pike, 1400 block, 9:05 a.m. Oct. 29. A male with a gun demanded money from a teller as the teller was about to open a drive-through area of the bank. The male fled with cash in a vehicle.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bells Ridge Terr., 8500 block, 7:35 to 8:55 a.m. Oct. 25. Property was stolen from an open garage at a residence.

Creek Valley Lane, 500 block, 6:45 to 7 p.m. Oct. 26. Property was stolen from an open garage at a residence.

Fellowship Lane, 12500 block, Oct. 25 to 28. Property was stolen from a construction site.

Parrish Dr., 1200 block, 4:53 p.m. Oct. 29. A cellphone was stolen from a vehicle.

Auburn Ave., 4800 block, Oct. 25 to 26. Property was stolen from an electrical contractor business.

Brookville Rd., 8900 block, Oct. 24 to 25. Property was stolen from a shed at a landscaping business.

Cloister Dr., 4900 block, 12:30 to 8:30 a.m. Oct. 29. Parts were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

Connecticut Ave., 8500 block, midnight to 1 a.m. Oct. 23. Property was stolen from a gas station entered by force.

East-West Hwy., 4300 block, Oct. 24 to 25. Property was stolen from a business. There was no sign of forced entry.

Hampton Mill Terr., 10800 block, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 27. Property was stolen from two vehicles. One of them was entered by force.

Miller Ave., 4700 block, 4:30 a.m. Oct. 26. Property was stolen from a delicatessen entered by force.

Wisconsin Ave., 5500 block, Oct. 23 to 25. A business was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

Wisconsin Ave., 8100 block, 9:35 p.m. Oct. 27. Damage was done to an electronics retail store entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

ROBBERIES

Castle Blvd., 13900 block, 2:30 a.m. Oct. 27. A male assaulted and robbed a person.

Ellsworth Dr. and Fenton St., 11:53 p.m. Oct. 29. A 33-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested in connection with armed robbery.

New Hampshire Ave. and Northampton Dr., 5:15 a.m. Oct. 26. A robbery occurred. A 29-year-old District man was arrested.

Shepperton Dr., 2900 block, 10:15 a.m. Oct. 25. A person robbed an acquaintance.

Sligo Ave., 700 block, 2:09 a.m. Oct. 29. A man with a weapon robbed someone of property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Avenel Gardens Lane, Cherry Tree Lane (two incidents), Eastwood Ave., Northmoor Dr. and Pierce Dr. (two incidents) Oct. 21 to 23. Cash, computers, GPS devices, clothing, an MP3 player and a car stereo were stolen from seven vehicles.

Castle Blvd., 14100 block, 5 to 7:15 p.m. Oct. 23. Two males entered a residence, took property and fled. There was no sign of forced entry.

Crosswood Dr., 4200 block, 7:15 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. Oct. 28. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Greenock Rd., 10100 block, 5:43 a.m. Oct. 25. A garage at a residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

July Dr., 11400 block, 8 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. Oct. 24. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Noyes Dr. N., 1000 block, 1:09 a.m. Oct. 25. A man entered a garage at a residence. Nothing was reported missing.

Old Columbia Pike, 11800 block, 8 a.m. Oct. 24 to 10:15 p.m. Oct. 25. Someone broke into the residence of an acquaintance.

Parkford Manor Terr., 9:30 a.m. to 6:11 p.m. Oct. 29. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Robey Terr., 3400 block, 10:30 p.m. Oct. 22 to 4:50 a.m. Oct. 23. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Frederick Ave. N., 9:10 p.m. Oct. 26. A male assaulted and robbed a person.

Professional Dr., 200 block, 12:16 p.m. Oct. 25. A robbery at a hotel was reported.

Research Blvd., 2600 block, 1:30 a.m. Oct. 29. Two males with a weapon threatened and robbed a person at a hotel.

Stedwick Rd., 10600 block, 7 p.m. Oct. 26. Three males assaulted and robbed a person.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Quince Orchard Blvd., 700 block, 3:30 to 10 a.m. Oct. 27. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

West Side Dr. and Muddy Branch Rd., Oct. 21 to 29. Property was stolen from two vehicles. There was no sign of forced entry.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Christopher Ave., 400 block, 10 p.m. Oct. 25 to 6:30 a.m. Oct. 26. A vehicle was reported stolen.

Lost Knife Cir., 18200 block, 10 p.m. Oct. 22 to 11 a.m. Oct. 23. A vehicle was reported stolen.

ASSAULTS

Avery Rd., 14500 block, 8 to 8:30 a.m. Oct. 31. A 16-year-old male was arrested in connection with second-degree assault, resisting arrest and obstructing and hindering a police investigation.

Cove Lane, 14000 block, 7:20 to 7:26 p.m. Oct. 29. Two men, ages 25 and 33, were arrested in connection with second-degree assault and first- and third-degree burglary.

Fleet St. and Mount Vernon Pl., 2:30 to 2:40 p.m. Oct. 29. Two 17-year-old males were arrested in connection with robbery, first- and second-degree assault and theft. One of them was also charged with illegal possession of Oxycodone.

Norbeck and Avery roads, 6:27 p.m. Oct. 25. A 27-year-old man was arrested in connection with possession of marijuana and cocaine, assaulting a police officer and obstructing and hindering a police investigation.

ROBBERIES

Congressional Lane, 100 block, 10:58 a.m. Oct. 29. Two males entered a bank, and one told everyone to get on the floor. He jumped over a counter and attempted to open money drawers. The other robber stayed by the front door and fired a handgun, striking the ceiling. The robbers fled. Nothing was reported taken.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Choke Cherry Rd., unit block, 7:50 a.m. Oct. 17 to 10 a.m. Oct. 29. Six rolls of copper wire were stolen from a construction site.

Elmcroft Blvd., 500 block, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 29. A video game console and several video games and movies were stolen from an apartment entered through a kitchen window.

Gladstone Dr., 1200 block, 12:30 to 6:30 a.m. Oct. 31. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle.

Hungerford Dr., 300 block, 11 a.m. Nov. 2. A pair of designer sunglasses left behind at a business was stolen.

Jefferson St. E., 1600 block, noon Oct. 31 to noon to Nov. 3. A person entered an unlocked storage unit and cut through a wall to access an adjacent locked unit. A bicycle was stolen from the second unit.

Lincoln St., 800 block, 3 p.m. Oct. 28 to 5 p.m. Oct. 30. Two cameras and three lenses were stolen from a residence entered by force through a rear door.

Mannakee St., unit block, 9:55 to 10:15 a.m. Oct. 23. A female reported that someone had taken her cellphone from the area she where had been sitting a short time earlier.

Martina Lane, 300 block, 2:15 to 3:45 p.m. Oct. 31. A cellphone, a wallet, a set of keys and clothes were stolen from a locked locker at recreation center.

Maryland Ave., unit block, 9:45 p.m. Oct. 23. A lamp was stolen from a residence.

Piccard Dr., 1800 block, 5:15 to 6 p.m. Nov. 2. A woman reported that her purse and wallet had been stolen from her vehicle.

Rockville Pike, 1600 block, 2:42 p.m. Oct. 28. Two females entered a business, placed merchandise in a store bag and left without paying. They fled in a black Honda Accord with D.C. tags.

Shady Grove Rd., 15800 block, 7 p.m. Oct. 31 to 6:50 a.m. Nov. 1. Cash was stolen from a safe entered by force in an office suite.

Veirs Mill Rd., 1900 block, 12:28 p.m. Oct. 30. A 29-year-old man was arrested in connection with shoplifting.

WEAPONS

Park Rd. and Rockville Pike, 3:43 p.m. Oct. 30. A 39-year-old man was arrested in connection with possession of a concealed dangerous weapon (knife), refusing to comply with a lawful order and two counts of hindering and obstructing a police investigation.

Veirs Mill Rd., 800 block, 9:30 p.m. Oct. 31. A 44-year-old man was arrested in connection with possession of a concealed dangerous weapon (knife).

Takoma Park

East-West Hwy., 900 block, 9:24 p.m. Nov. 6. A male entered a business and assaulted a male clerk during an altercation.

New Hampshire Ave., 7400 block, 9 p.m. Nov. 5. A 55-year-old man was arrested in connection with the assault of a female during an altercation.

New Hampshire Ave., 7600 block, 12:26 a.m. Nov. 2. A group of males assaulted a male.

ROBBERIES

Laurel Ave., 6900 block, 4:41 a.m. Nov. 1. Two males accosted a male pedestrian and demanded property. The pedestrian complied, and the robbers fled. No injuries were reported.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Eastern Ave., 6500 block, 9:34 p.m. Nov. 5. Property was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

Elm Ave., 400 block, 7:25 p.m. Nov. 6. Property was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Garland Ave., 7200 block, 11:12 p.m. Nov. 4. Property was stolen from a residential back yard.

University Blvd., 1300 block, 1:38 a.m. Nov. 1. A man entered a store and took items without paying.

Willow Ave., 7100 block, 7 a.m. Nov. 7. A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle.
