Montrose Rd. and Hoya St., 2:01 a.m. Nov. 26. An assault occurred. A 23-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested.

Spaatz Pl., 5900 block, 7:07 p.m. Nov. 30. An assault occurred.

ROBBERIES

Rockville Pike, 12000 block, 1:45 p.m. Dec. 2. A robbery occurred at a bank inside a grocery store.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Aqueduct Rd., 8300 block, Nov. 27. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Baltimore Rd., 2200 block, 11:31 a.m. Nov. 28. Two sheds at a religious institution were entered by force.

Needwood Rd., 7500 block, 12:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 28. Property was stolen from a shed at a residence.

Pavonia Ct., 9200 block, Nov. 25 to Dec. 2. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Rockville Pike and Montgomery Dr., Nov. 25 to Dec. 3. A GPS device and a laptop computer were stolen from two vehicles. There were no signs of forced entry.

Woodington Dr., 9500 block, 11:42 p.m. Nov. 27. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

Colston Dr., 2400 block, 6:45 a.m. Nov. 30. Two males with a weapon threatened and robbed someone.

Democracy Blvd., 7100 block, 12:15 a.m. Dec. 4. Several people with a weapon robbed someone of property at a mall.

Sangamore Rd., 4700 block, 6:30 p.m. Nov. 29. A male threatened and attempted to rob someone.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Allan Rd., Baltimore Ave. and Westridge Rd., Nov. 27 to 28. Cash was stolen from an unidentified number of unlocked vehicles.

Bentcross Dr., 10000 block, Nov. 26 to 30. A break-in occurred at a residence. There was no sign of forced entry, and nothing was reported missing.

Bluegrass Rd., 9900 block, 10 p.m. Nov. 27. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Brierly Rd., Nov. 26 to 27. Parts were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

Cedar Lane W., 5400 block, 8:40 p.m. Dec. 2. A break-in occurred at a pharmacy. There was no sign of forced entry, and nothing was reported missing.

Democracy Blvd., 7100 block, Dec. 1. Property was stolen from a kiosk at a mall.

East-West Hwy., 4300 block, 2:41 a.m. Nov. 28. A vision center was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

Falls Rd., 10600 block, 9 to 11:30 p.m. Dec. 3. A wallet, a cellphone and a GPS device were stolen from two vehicles. One of them was entered by force.

Nicholson Lane and Strathmore Hall St., Nov. 25 to Dec. 3. Gas was siphoned from five vehicles. In three other incidents, cash and other property were stolen from vehicles.

Sonoma Rd., 5600 block, Nov. 26 to 27. Property outside a residence was stolen.

Spencer Rd., 2500 block, Nov. 28 to 30. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Ellsworth Dr., 900 block, 7 p.m. Nov. 28. A man and a woman assaulted a person and fled.

Old Columbia Pike, 13800 block, 11 p.m. Nov. 27. A 25-year-old Silver Spring man was arrested in connection with the assault of an acquaintance.

Domer Ave., 500 block, 11:40 p.m. Nov. 30. A male attempted to rob someone of property at gunpoint.

Hunters Gate Ct., unit block, 6:30 p.m. Nov. 30. Two males with a weapon threatened and robbed a person.

Beacon Rd., 500 block, 6:40 a.m. to 5:40 p.m. Nov. 27. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Castleigh Rd., 2 to 3 a.m. Nov. 29. Seven vehicles were entered and searched. Nothing was reported missing.

Executive Park Cir., 19800 block, 2 to 8:15 p.m. Nov. 30. Property was stolen from two residences entered by force.

Quail Woods and Partridge Wood drives, Dec. 2 to 3. Cellphones, a GPS device and cash were stolen from two unlocked vehicles.

Brassie Pl., 19400 block, 6:05 a.m. Dec. 1. A 47-year-old Rockville man was arrested in connection with the assault of an acquaintance.

Montgomery Village Ave., 19200 block, 10:55 p.m. Nov. 26. An assault occurred in a parking lot at a cafe.

Russell Ave., 700 block, 8:42 p.m. Nov. 27. A male assaulted and attempted to rob someone in a mall parking lot.

Travis Ave. and Southern Night Lane, 3:30 p.m. Nov. 30. Someone was robbed by an acquaintance.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bayridge Dr., 9:14 p.m. Dec. 3. A break-in occurred at a residence. There was no sign of forced entry, and nothing was reported missing.

Boysenberry Dr., 18500 block, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Dec. 2. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Chestnut St., unit block, 1:32 p.m. Dec. 1. A break-in occurred at a residence.

Frederick Ave., 200 block, 6:46 p.m. Dec. 6. A 30-year-old man was arrested in connection with second-degree assault.

Lemay Rd., 5900 block, 1:44 to 2 p.m. Dec. 5. A 25-year-old man was arrested in connection with second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and failing to obey a lawful order.

Rockville Pike, 700 block, 6:49 p.m. Dec. 5. A 38-year-old man was arrested in connection with second-degree assault, resisting arrest and trespassing.

WEAPONS

Calvin Lane at Calvin Ct., 12:13 to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 30. A 24-year-old man was arrested in connection with possession of a concealed deadly weapon.

Rockville Pike, 1100 block, 12:24 a.m. Dec. 4. A 24-year-old man was arrested in connection with possession of a concealed deadly weapon (pocketknife).

ROBBERIES

Lemay Rd. and Ridgway Ave., 7:50 to 7:56 p.m. Dec. 5. A male accosted a female pedestrian and tried to take her purse. He pushed her to the ground and fled toward an elementary school.

Lemay and Holland roads, 8:40 to 8:55 p.m. Dec. 8. A male accosted a female pedestrian and tried to take her purse. He pushed her to the ground and dragged her until he had the purse, then fled.

Monroe St., 700 block, 2 to 2:15 p.m. Dec. 6. Two men, 18, and 21, were arrested in connection with armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and assault.

Montgomery Ave. W., 100 block, 8:25 to 9:03 p.m. Dec. 3. Two males accosted a female pedestrian and demanded cash at knifepoint. The pedestrian took cash from her pocket, threw it on the ground and fled.

Rockville Pike, 1700 block, 4 to 4:14 p.m. Dec. 7. Two males entered a business through a bottom-level entrance. One of the males left the store through the bottom-floor exit while the other left through an upper-floor front entrance. Two winter coats were missing.

Stanley Ave. and Matthews Dr., 9:15 to 9:16 p.m. Dec. 7. A male accosted a female pedestrian. He grabbed the pedestrian’s purse, struck her and fled on Matthews Drive toward Henry Road.

Veirs Mill Rd., 2100 block, 9:05 p.m. Dec. 4. A female followed a female pedestrian to a bus stop. The pedestrian noticed a male standing at the bus shelter, and he demanded cash at knifepoint. As a bus approached, the robber and female accomplice fled toward a convenience store on Atlantic Avenue.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Baltimore Rd., 2000 block, 2:45 to 5 p.m. Dec. 4. A delivery package containing a pair of shoes was stolen from the front door area of an apartment.

Choke Cherry Rd., unit block, 11:30 p.m. Dec. 3. Property was stolen from a construction site entered by force. A male was observed placing property into a white sedan and fleeing.

Crabb Ave., 400 block, 9 p.m. Dec. 3 to 10:30 a.m. Dec. 4. A jacket was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Grandin Ave. N., noon Dec. 2 to 9:30 a.m. Dec. 4. Cash and a pair of prescription sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Maple Ave., 1100 block, 6 p.m. Dec. 3 to 5:48 p.m. Dec. 4. Jewelry and a television were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

Rockville Pike, 1000 block, 12:33 to 12:34 a.m. Dec. 8. Cash was stolen from a business entered by forcing a front glass door.

Rockville Pike, 1400 block, 12:43 to 12:50 a.m. Dec. 8. Cash was stolen from a business entered by forcing a front glass door.

Southlawn Lane, 14900 block, 3:30 to 3:53 a.m. Dec. 6. Two car batteries and an in-dash radio were stolen from a vehicle.

Upper Rock Cir., unit block, 3 p.m. Nov. 27 to 8:28 a.m. Dec. 2. Two power tools, several brass hose valves and sprinkler heads were stolen from a locked storage box at a building under construction.

New Hampshire Ave., 7400 block, 6:42 p.m. Dec. 8. A female assaulted a male acquaintance during an argument. No injuries were reported, and no charges were filed.

Maple Ave., 7600 block, 8:20 p.m. Dec. 11. A male accosted a female acquaintance and forcibly took property from her pockets, then fled.

Birch Ave., 7300 block, and Spruce Ave., 2000 block, 2:43 p.m. Dec. 9. A 39-year-old man was arrested in connection with stealing packages from residential porches.

Prince Georges Ave., 6800 block, 10:47 a.m. Dec. 11. A male attempted to enter a vehicle, then fled empty-handed when the car alarm sounded.

University Blvd., 1300 block, 6:34 p.m. Dec. 7. A 49-year-old man was arrested in connection with trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia and theft.

Wildwood Dr., 7500 block, 5:40 p.m. Dec. 10. Property was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

13th Pl., 7200 block, 4 a.m. Dec. 6. Property was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.
