Halpine Rd., 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. Dec. 25. A person sexually assaulted an acquaintance.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Beall Ave., Bickford Ave., Bradford Dr., Carr Ave., Forest Ave., Grayson Ct., Great Falls Rd., Montgomery Ave. and Smallwood Rd., Dec. 16 to 17. Cash and coins were stolen from 11 vehicles. Most were entered by force.

Crabbs Branch Way, 15800 block, 1:02 p.m. Dec. 18. Property was stolen from a vehicle. A 24-year-old man of unknown address was found in possession of the property and arrested.

Halesworth Dr., 1100 block, 7 to 8 p.m. Dec. 17. Property was stolen from a vehicle in a garage. A 16-year-old Rockville male was arrested.

Halesworth Dr., 1200 block, Dec. 17. A vehicle parked in a garage was entered and searched. Nothing was reported missing.

Kings Rant St., 14500 block, Dec. 24 to 28. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Kohloss Rd., 17500 block, Dec. 18 to 19. A vehicle was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

Platinum Dr., 14200 block, 8 a.m. Dec. 26 to 1 a.m. Dec. 27. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Rockville Pike, 12000 block, 3 to 4 p.m. Dec. 20. A person took property from someone at a grocery store. It was not until later that the shopper realized the theft occurred.

Wilkins Ave., 12100 block, 4 p.m. Dec. 29. A 38-year-old Silver Spring man was arrested in connection with an attempt to enter a yoga studio by force.

Kenwood Forest Lane, 6700 block, 6:15 p.m. Dec. 30. Two masked males with a weapon threatened and robbed someone.

Norfolk Ave., 7900 block, 4:30 p.m. Dec. 26. A man entered a bank and slid a note to a teller saying he was armed and demanded cash. The teller complied and the robber fled.

Old Georgetown Rd., 7600 block, 11 p.m. Dec. 28. A man with a weapon threatened and robbed a person.

River Rd., 10100 block, 5 p.m. Dec. 21. A man entered a bank, threatened someone with a weapon and fled with cash.

Spring Lake Dr., 7500 block, 10:10 p.m. Dec. 21. Two males with a weapon threatened and robbed a person.

Westlake Dr., 10300 block, 4 p.m. Dec. 20. Two males entered a bank and threatened several people with a gun. They took property and fled in a car driven by a third male.

Blackwood Rd. and Haviland Dr., Dec. 19 to 20. Purses, cash and a GPS device were stolen from four vehicles.

Cedarwood Dr., 11000 block, 11:40 a.m. to noon Dec. 18. Property was stolen from a construction site.

Ewing Dr., McKinley St., Roosevelt St. and Rayburn Rd., Dec. 18 to 19. Property was stolen from four vehicles. At least two of them were entered by force.

Fairfax Rd., 7100 block, Dec. 21 to 22. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Aubinoe Farm Rd., Dickens Ave. and Kingswood Rd., Dec. 26. Parts were stolen from four vehicles entered by force.

Autumn Wind Way, 200 block, 1 p.m. Dec. 21 to 4 p.m. Dec. 30. Copper drain pipes were stolen.

Copperstone Ct., 1000 block, 11:30 p.m. Dec. 31 to 2 a.m. Jan. 1. Two iPads, a laptop computer, a video game console, 10 video games, a television and a cellphone were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked rear door.

Jefferson St. E., 1600 block, noon Jan. 1 to 12:37 p.m. Jan. 2. A front chrome grille and a fog light were stolen from a vehicle.

Southlawn Ct., unit block, 11:40 p.m. Dec. 23 to 10 a.m. Dec. 24. Someone used a key to enter a business through a front door, then took a key from the front desk area. The thief took cash and checks from a cash box in a storage room and fled.

Southlawn Ct., unit block, 1 to 1:20 a.m. Dec. 31. Cash and a tablet computer were stolen from a safe that had been pried open at a business. The business was also entered by force.

WEAPONS

Stonestreet Ave. N., 900 block, 2:05 a.m. Dec. 31. A 51-year-old man was arrested in connection with four counts of possession of concealed weapons (a sword with sheath, two knives and a wooden blunt object), and several traffic citations.
