Old Georgetown Rd., 10400 block, 5 p.m. Dec. 31. Several people assaulted and robbed a person.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Albemarle St., Blackstone Rd. and Duvall Dr., Dec. 30 to 31. Purses and cash were stolen from four vehicles. One of them was entered by force.

East-West Hwy., 1800 block, 12:30 to 6:30 a.m. Jan. 4. Cash was stolen from five vehicles entered by force.

Kirkside Dr., 5600 block, 4:30 a.m. Jan. 4. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force. Nothing was reported missing.

Schuylkill Rd., 11400 block, 12:45 a.m. Jan. 6. Property was stolen from a vehicle. Two Silver Spring men, 20 and 21, and a 21-year-old man of unknown address were arrested.

Wisconsin Ave., 6700 block, 3:15 a.m. Jan. 7. A bank was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

Woodmont Ave., 7200 block, 6:45 p.m. Jan. 2. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

ASSAULTS

Dixon Ave., 8200 block, Jan. 1. A 37-year-old man was arrested in connection with an assault.

Georgia Ave. and 16th St., 5 a.m. Jan. 1. An aggravated assault occurred. A 43-year-old Suitland man and a 39-year-old Suitland woman were arrested.

Old Columbia Pike, 11900 block, 10 to 10:30 a.m. Jan. 2. A man threatened police with multiple weapons. A Silver Spring man, 21, was arrested.

Piney Branch Rd., 8600 block, Jan. 5. A 28-year-old Silver Spring man was arrested in connection with the assault of an acquaintance.

ROBBERIES

Eastern Ave., 7600 block, 10 p.m. Jan. 1. A male threatened and robbed a person, then fled in an SUV driven by another male.

New Hampshire Ave., 11100 block, 4:45 to 5:05 p.m. Jan. 4. Two males assaulted and robbed someone in the parking lot of a gas station.

Richmond Ave., 700 block, 9:30 p.m. Jan. 6. A man with a weapon threatened and robbed a person.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Baroque Rd., 11300 block, 10 p.m. Dec. 30. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Dallas Ave., 9900 block, 3:30 p.m. Jan. 6. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing. A 16-year-old Wheaton male and a 15-year-old Silver Spring male were arrested.

December Dr., 1500 block, 9 a.m. to 5:40 p.m. Jan. 3. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Georgia Ave., 7900 block, 10:30 p.m. Jan. 1 to 11:15 a.m. Jan. 3. Three purses were stolen from three cars during a three-day period in a parking lot at a convenience store. The vehicles were opened by force.

Gilbert Pl., 8700 block, 7:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Dec. 31. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Glen Ross Rd. and Luzerne Ave., after midnight, Jan. 6. Cash and battery chargers were stolen from eight vehicles. There were no signs of forced entry.

Huckburn Ct., 5700 block, 6 p.m. Jan. 1 to 8 a.m. Jan. 2. GPS devices, a laptop computer, gift cards and CDs were stolen from three vehicles.

Rockville Pike, 700 block, 2:18 p.m. Jan. 12. Two purses, two wallets and cash were among property stolen from vehicle.

New Hampshire Ave., 6500 block, 3:50 p.m. Jan. 14. After an argument at a business, a male customer — who had had his vehicle serviced — fled with the business’s equipment in his vehicle.

New Hampshire Ave., 7400 block, 9 p.m. Jan. 12. Property was stolen from an apartment entered by forcing open a front door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Maple Ave., 7700 block, 8:45 a.m. Jan. 13. A blue 2002 Honda Accord was stolen.

Ritchie Ave., unit block, 8:05 a.m. Jan. 12. A silver 2011 Honda Pilot was stolen from a driveway after it was left unlocked with the engine running.
