SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Shady Grove Rd., 12:30 to 5:14 a.m. Feb. 16. A person was sexually assaulted by an acquaintance.

Rockville Pike, 1400 block, 11:13 p.m. Feb. 16. An assault occurred at a restaurant.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Frederick Rd., 15700 block, midnight to 6 a.m. Feb. 17. An attempt was made to enter a gas station by force.

Hungerford Dr., Feb. 10 to 18. An iPod was stolen from a vehicle.

Research Ct., Feb. 12 to 13. Electronic equipment, a digital camera and a briefcase were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

Washington St. N., 2:40 to 4:23 p.m. Feb. 10 to 18. An iPod was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Wooden Bridge Rd., 9000 block, 3 p.m. Feb. 14 to 12:57 p.m. Feb. 15. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Monroe St. and Jefferson St. E., 8:30 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. Feb. 18. A vehicle was stolen from a parking garage.

Arlington Blvd., 6900 block, 3:50 to 4:10 p.m. Feb. 10. Property was stolen from a woman’s purse while she was at a pharmacy.

MacArthur Blvd., 2 to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 18. A purse was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

Matthews Lane, 5200 block, Feb. 14 to 17. A residence was entered. There was no sign of forced entry, and nothing was reported missing.

Royal Dominion Dr., 7400 block, Feb. 14 to 17. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

Robey Rd., 13800 block, 9 a.m. Feb. 11. A man exposed himself to a person.

ROBBERIES

Carters Grove Pl., 1900 block, 10:20 a.m. Feb. 14. A male with a weapon threatened a person and took property.

Northampton Dr., 600 block, 8 p.m. Feb. 16. Two men assaulted and robbed a person and fled in a 1990s gold or yellow Ford Mustang.

Osage St., 1000 block, 9 p.m. Feb. 16. A man assaulted and robbed a person.

Colesville Rd., 10100 block, 10:30 p.m. Feb. 12 to 9:30 a.m. Feb. 13. Property was stolen from a fast-food restaurant entered by force.

Elton Rd., 1700 block, 11 p.m. Feb. 18. An optometry office was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

Gatewood Pl., 2100 block, 4 to 7:52 p.m. Feb. 17. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Anndyke Pl., Black Saddle Lane, Hazelnut Ct., Spinning Wheel Ct. and Wisteria Dr., Feb. 10 to 12. Wallets, cash and small electronics were stolen from an unidentified number of unlocked vehicles.

Aurora Hills Dr., Birch Mead Rd., Cypress Spring Rd., Little Seneca Pkwy., Meadow Mist Rd., Milestone Manor Lane, Sycamore Farm Dr. and Walnut Haven Dr., Feb. 10 to 12. Wallets, cash and electronics were stolen from an unidentified number of vehicles. A 17-year-old Brandywine female and a 15-year-old female of unknown address were arrested.

Barnesville Rd., 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 10. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Bethesda Church Rd., 11900 block, Feb. 11. A break-in occurred at a church.

Frederick Rd., 20700 block, Feb. 18. Property was stolen from a church entered by force.

Locustdale Terr., 11400 block, Feb. 13 to 17. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Prices Distillery Rd., 13000 block, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 11. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Ridge Rd., 27000 block, Feb. 18. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force, and a break-in occurred at a church.

Yellow Leaf Way, 11100 block, 1 to 2 p.m. Feb. 17. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force. An 18-year-old Germantown woman and two Germantown males, 16 and 14, were arrested.

Montgomery Village Ave., 18600 block, 11 p.m. Feb. 14. Two masked males with a weapon threatened and robbed a person.

Walker House Rd., 9900 block, 8:30 p.m. Feb. 13. Two males with a weapon threatened and robbed a person.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bountyfield Ct., 20700 block, 8 a.m. to 2:36 p.m. Feb. 12. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Deer Park Lane, 100 block, 12:41 p.m. Feb. 18. Property outside a residence was stolen.

Dunbrook Ct. and Shadow Oak Dr., Feb. 10 to 11. Items were stolen from two vehicles.

Summit Ave. N., 200 block, noon to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 18. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Toboggan Lane, 17900 block, Feb. 13 to 14. Property was stolen from a construction site.

Rockville

ASSAULTS

Rockville Pike, 1400 block, 5:56 to 6 p.m. Feb. 21. Two males accosted a skateboard user in a parking garage and said he was not allowed to skate there. One of the males assaulted the skateboarder, and the two males fled.

Twinbrook Pkwy., 12900 block, 10 p.m. Feb. 21. A masked man attacked a male pedestrian in a parking lot. The assailant knocked him down and fled toward Ardennes Avenue.

ROBBERIES

Reading Terr. and S. Stonestreet Ave., 11:30 p.m. Feb. 19. A male accosted a pedestrian and asked him for a cigarette. An accomplice of the male struck the pedestrian on the back of the head with a handgun, knocking him down. The robbers took the pedestrian’s backpack and cash and fled in a black Ford Fusion south on Stonestreet Avenue.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Mannakee St., unit block, 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Feb. 18. A backpack containing a laptop computer, a cellphone, an iPod and a wallet was stolen from an unlocked locker at a school.

Reserve Champion Dr., 900 block, 4:30 p.m. Feb. 15 to 8 p.m. Feb. 17. An air pump was stolen from a vehicle.

Shady Grove Rd., 15800 block, 7 p.m. Feb. 12 to 11 a.m. Feb. 20. A camera and jewelry were stolen from two offices.

Twinbrook Pkwy., 12900 block, 2:40 to 3:15 p.m. Feb. 22. A man reported that someone had taken his suitcase while he was playing basketball.

Van Fleet Ct., unit block, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 14. Jewelry was stolen from a woman’s bedroom while work was being performed at the residence.

OTHER ARRESTS

Falls Rd. and Fallsmead Way, 9:38 a.m. Feb. 19. After a traffic stop, a 48-year-old motorist was arrested for allegedly making false statements to a police officer and issued two traffic citations.
