ASSAULTS

Bou Ave., 5700 block, 7:15 p.m. May 9. A man assaulted an acquaintance. A Rockville man, 31, was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Elmcroft Blvd. and Creek Valley Lane, May 8 to May 9. Two thefts from unlocked vehicles were reported. Cash, a hunting knife and a basketball were stolen.

Hillbrooke Lane, 10800 block, 11:30 p.m. May 11 to 6:30 a.m. May 12. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Old Coach Rd., 10900 block, 10:20 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 11. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Frederick Rd., 15400 block, May 8 to May 9. A vehicle was stolen from an auto dealership entered by force.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Jensen Pl., 12:30 p.m. May 10. A person sexually assaulted an acquaintance.

ROBBERIES

East-West Hwy., 1700 block, 11:10 p.m. May 10. A group of four to five males assaulted a person and took property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bethesda area, day and night hours May 5 to 13. Nine thefts from vehicles were reported. Two vehicles were entered by force. Cash, electronics and other items were stolen.

Bybrook Lane, 7400 block, daytime May 6. Property outside a residence was stolen.

Bybrook Lane, 7500 block, May 5 to May 8. Property outside a residence was stolen.

Daniel Rd., 2900 block, 1 p.m. May 6. A residence was entered by force.

Democracy Blvd., 7100 block, 5 to 6 p.m. May 6. Cash, purses and an iPad were stolen from two vehicles entered by force.

Montgomery Ave., 4300 block, 11 p.m. May 6. A residence was entered by force.

Rossmore Dr., 5900 block, 1 p.m. May 12. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Wisconsin Ave., 8300 block, overnight May 7 to 8. Property was stolen from a business. There was no sign of forced entry.

Georgia Ave., 5:40 to 6:40 p.m. May 12. A person sexually assaulted an acquaintance.

ROBBERIES

Colesville Rd., 8300 block, 2:58 a.m. May 14. A female and three men, armed with a weapon, threatened a person at a gas station and took property.

Colesville Rd., 8500 block, 10:56 p.m. May 6. Two men assaulted a person and took property at a fast-food restaurant. Two men, 22 and 30, both of no fixed address, were arrested.

Colesville Rd., 8500 block, 5:45 p.m. May 11. A man assaulted and attempted to rob a person at a fast-food restaurant.

Piney Branch Rd., 8600 block, 6:30 p.m. May 8. Two males robbed a person of property.

Quebec Terr., 1000 block, 3 p.m. May 9. A male robbed a person of property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Childress Terr., Bald Hill Ct. and Angleton Terr., overnight May 9 to May 10. A wallet, cash and a laptop computer were stolen from two unlocked vehicles.

Fenton St., 7800 block, 6 p.m. May 9 to 9:30 a.m. May 10. Two storage units at a storage lot were entered by force.

Georgia Ave., 7900 block, 8 a.m. May 7. A purse and a cellphone were stolen from a vehicle entered by force at a convenience store.

Lockwood Dr., 11600 block, 5:06 a.m. May 11. Four thefts from vehicles were reported. Cash, a GPS device and a purse were stolen. A Silver Spring male, 16, was arrested.

Meadowhill Rd., 10800 block, May 9 to May 10. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Treetop Dr., 12300 block, 7:28 p.m. May 10. A residential burglary was reported.

Windsor St., 400 block, 1 to 4 p.m. May 8. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Jaystone Dr., 14600 block, and Silverstone Dr. 14600 and 14700 blocks, overnight May 9 to May 10. Six thefts from vehicles were reported.

Tanterra Cir., 3300 block, 3 to 8 p.m. May 9. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Dorsey Rd., 6500 block, 8 p.m. May 7 to 8 p.m. May 8. Property was stolen from a shed entered by force.

Harvest Glen Way, Palmetto Ct. and Caravan Dr., May 4 to May 12. Thefts from five unlocked vehicles were reported. Stolen items included laptop computers, purses, jewelry, sunglasses, cash and a GPS device.

Station St., Middlebrook Rd. and Country Ridge Dr., May 6 to May 11. Property was taken from three vehicles, two unlocked and one entered by force. Cash, a laptop computer, jewelry and a purse were stolen.

Rio Blvd., 9:40 p.m. May 9. A male armed with a weapon assaulted a person and took property at a shopping mall parking garage.

Summit Hall Rd., 200 block, 7:40 p.m. May 11. Assault and robbery were reported at a park. A Gaithersburg male, 16, was arrested.

West Diamond Ave., 400 block, 4:47 p.m. May 9. Two males assaulted a person and took property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

East Diamond Ave., Hutton St., Blue Violet Ct. and Calypso Lane, May 5 to May 6. Thefts from six unlocked vehicles were reported. Stolen items included a video game, a cellphone, clothing, a wallet, a video camera, an iPod, gift cards, greeting cards, a pocketknife, sunglasses, a flashlight and papers.

Kinglet Pl. and Farmingham and Carlsbad drives, May 6 to May 9. Thefts from four unlocked vehicles were reported. Stolen items included an iPod, a laptop computer and auto parts.

Snouffer School Rd., 8200 block, 1:41 a.m. May 5. Auto parts were stolen from an auto parts shop entered by force.

Washingtonian Blvd. and Key West Ave., May 5 to May 7. Thefts from four vehicles, two entered by force, were reported. Stolen items included an Xbox, a radar detector, clothes and an iPad.

Watkins Station Cir. and Welbeck Way, May 9 to May 12. Four thefts from vehicles were reported. Stolen items included a GPS device, an MP3 player and vehicle parts.

Ladyshire Lane, 100 block, 4 p.m. May 16 to 8 a.m. May 17. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle.

Lewis Ave., 1900 block, 2 to 7:30 a.m. May 15. A shed was entered in an unknown manner. Nothing was reported stolen.

Lewis Ave., 2100 block, 2:32 a.m. May 17. A residence was entered by removing a screen from a basement window and unlocking the window. Nothing was reported stolen.

North Washington St., 200 block, 8:21 to 9:21 p.m. May 13. A cellphone was stolen from a business.

Research Blvd., 2500 block, 7:30 p.m. May 15 to 6:43 a.m. May 16. Items were stolen from a vehicle.

Research Ct., unit block, 7:30 p.m. May 15 to 6:43 a.m. May 16. Items were stolen from three vehicles.

Rockville Pike, 1000 block, 4 p.m. May 16 to 12:49 a.m. May 17. Items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Rockville Pike, 1500 block, 5 to 8:45 p.m. May 13. A theft from an unlocked vehicle was reported.

Rockville Pike, 1500 block, 4:18 p.m. May 14. Three people entered a business and took property.
