ASSAULTS

Hungerford Dr., 300 block, 4:21 p.m. Aug. 21. In what police said was a road-rage incident, a man in a 1995 Nissan Maxima stopped the vehicle near a fire station and attacked a person in another vehicle, then sped away.

Seneca Rd., 14200 block, 1:07 p.m. Aug. 25. A man attacked a person, then fled in a white 2010 Dodge truck.

Shady Grove Rd., 16100 block, 7:04 p.m. Aug. 28. A person was attacked in front of a restaurant.

ROBBERIES

Hungerford and N. Campus drives, 4 p.m. Aug. 26. Three men threatened and robbed a person, then fled in a black Honda Accord.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Avery Rd., 15400 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 26 to 2 a.m. Aug. 27. Cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Avery Rd., 15500 block, 3:36 a.m. Aug. 27. A vehicle was entered by force.

Farragut Ave., 1700 block, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 25. A man entered a residence, and fled with property.

Gridley Rd., 4500 block, 12:05 p.m. Aug. 22. A break-in occurred at a residence.

Henslowe Dr., 2300 block, 5:34 p.m. Aug. 22. A break-in occurred at residence. A short time later, while trying to break into a nearby home, a 26-year-old Bethesda man was arrested on charges that included a connection to the earlier incident.

Parklawn Dr., 5400 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 25 to 6 a.m. Aug. 26. Property was stolen from a deck-refinishing business entered by force.

Parklawn Dr., 11900 block, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 24. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Southlawn Lane, 14600 block, 4 p.m. Aug. 26 to 10:30 a.m. Aug. 27. A business was entered by force.

Loch Lomand Dr., 7100 block, 5:30 p.m. Aug. 24. A person attacked an acquaintance.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bradley Blvd., 7600 block, 10:40 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Aug. 22. Purses were stolen from two vehicles.

East-West Hwy., 4300 block, Aug. 24 to 25. A business was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

East-West Hwy., 4300 block, 8:15 a.m. Aug. 27. A break-in occurred at a business.

Radnor Rd., 7800 block, Aug. 22 to 23. A laptop computer was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Ridgewood Ave., 6900 block, Rosemary St., 4200 block, Nevada Ave., 6100 block, Aug. 20 to 28. Cash and an iPod were among property stolen from two of four vehicles entered by force.

Stoneybrook Dr., 10000 block, 1:45 a.m. Aug. 28. A break-in occurred at a church. Several men were seen leaving the premises.

Uppingham St., 5400 block, Aug. 20 to 25. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Wisconsin Ave., 7700 block, 12:06 a.m. Aug. 24. A break-in occurred at a business.

University Blvd., unit block, 5:38 p.m. Aug. 22. During a dispute, a male displayed a handgun.

Bayfield St., 700 block, 2 a.m. Aug. 24. Three men armed with a weapon robbed a person of property.

Georgia Ave., 9000 block, 2 a.m. Aug. 28. Two men armed with a weapon robbed a person of property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Brantford Ave., 1200 block, 8:11 p.m. Aug. 23. A break-in occurred at a residence.

Columbia Pike, 11300 block, 9:51 p.m. Aug. 24. A break-in occurred at a residence.

Featherwood Ct., unit block, 2:15 p.m. Aug. 25. A break-in occurred at a residence.

Live Oak Dr., 1500 block, 9 a.m. Aug. 20 to 11 a.m. Aug. 25. A male youth entered a residence.

Pinedale Dr., 10600 block, noon to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 24. Property was stolen from a residence.

Sandy Spring Rd., 4200 block, 5 p.m. Aug. 20 to 6 p.m. Aug. 21. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Wayne Ave., 1000 block, 9 p.m. Aug. 20 to 7:05 a.m. Aug. 21. An attempt was made to enter a business.

Bel Pre Rd., 4400 block, 10:50 p.m. Aug. 27. Two males threatened a person. The victim said that one of the assailants was armed.

Estelle Rd., 13000 block, 10:28 p.m. Aug. 25. A person attacked an acquaintance.

Grandview Ave., 11200 block, 2:40 a.m. Aug. 25. Two men attacked an acquaintance. A 37-year-old Beltsville man and a 24-year-old Hyattsville man were charged with aggravated assault.

Randolph Rd., 2200 block, 10:13 p.m. Aug. 23. A person attacked an acquaintance in back of a grocery store.

ROBBERIES

Rolling Meadow Way, 18100 block, 9:30 p.m. Aug. 27. Two males armed with a weapon robbed several people of property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Elkin St., 11600 block, 1 to 1:30 a.m. Aug. 29. Attempts were made to enter two residences by force.

Norbeck Rd., 5100 block, 9:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 26. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Overwood Dr., 17900 block, 2:40 a.m. Aug. 25. A residence was entered by force. An 18-year-old Owings Mills man was arrested.

Weller Rd., 3900 block, Aug. 20 to 21. Property was stolen from a residence.

Wisteria Dr., 13000 block, 10:30 p.m. Aug. 20. A man groped a person at a convenience store. A 51-year-old Germantown man was arrested.

ROBBERIES

Aircraft Dr., 19900 block, 12:04 p.m. Aug. 23. A person demanded property from a person at a transit center, then fled empty-handed.

Century Blvd., 19900 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 21 to 1 a.m. Aug. 22. A strong-arm robbery occurred in a restaurant parking lot.

Great Seneca Hwy. and Richter Farm Rd., 2 a.m. Aug. 25. A group of five males threatened and robbed a person.

Partridge Wood Rd., 19100 block, 11:59 p.m. Aug. 22. Two males threatened and robbed a person.

Scenery Dr., 19500 block, 4:10 p.m. Aug. 26. A man attacked and robbed a person. A 21-year-old Gaithersburg man was charged with assault and robbery.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Birch Meade Rd., 23100 block, 1 to 7:20 a.m. Aug. 20. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Crownsgate Cir., 18400 block, Aug. 22 to 26. Property was stolen from a residence.

Gorman Cir., 12800 block, Aug. 22 to 23. Coins were stolen from two unlocked vehicles.

Scenery Dr., 11400 block, 5:08 p.m. Aug. 26. A residence was entered by force. A 20-year-old Gaithersburg man was arrested.

Scottsbury Ct., unit block, 1:30 a.m. Aug. 23. A residence was entered by force. An 18-year-old Silver Spring man was arrested.

Lost Knife Cir., 18400 block, 1:45 a.m. Aug. 21. A person was seen peering into windows at a residence.

McCausland Pl., unit block, 10 p.m. Aug. 21. A 36-year-old Gaithersburg man was arrested in connection with a Peeping Tom incident.

ASSAULTS

Brassie Way, 9600 block, 4 p.m. Aug. 28. A woman attacked an acquaintance. A 35-year-old Montgomery Village woman was arrested.

Chadburn Pl., 9200 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 24. A person armed with a weapon threatened a person.

Frederick Ave. S., 500 block, Aug. 2. Two acquaintances fought with each other.

Hazelcrest Dr., and Cottage Hill Ct., 5:20 p.m. Aug. 28. A man armed with a weapon robbed a person of property.

Little Pond Pl., 10100 block, 11:59 p.m. Aug. 27. Three males armed with weapons robbed several people of property.

Washington Grove Rd. and Midcounty Hwy., 3:25 p.m. Aug. 21. Two men armed with a weapon robbed a person of property.

Brookeville Rd., 5300 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 25 to 9 a.m. Aug. 26. Property was stolen from a landscaping business entered by force.

Cliff Pine Dr., 7200 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 23 to 2:40 a.m. Aug. 24. Cash, a wallet and a watch were among property stolen from two vehicles.

Girard St., 400 block, 6 to 10 a.m. Aug. 20. Property was stolen from a residence.

Muncaster Mill Rd., 7300 block, 3:30 p.m. Aug. 23 to 6 a.m. Aug. 24. Property was stolen from a construction site entered by force.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Ardennes Ave., 12900 block, 1 to 5:22 a.m. Sept. 1. An occupied residence was entered. A man who had been asleep on a couch fled empty-handed when confronted.

Chapman Ave., 1700 block, 6:15 a.m. to 6:17 p.m. Aug. 28. Several CDs, a Global Positioning System device and two cellphone chargers were stolen from a vehicle.

Frederick Rd., 15100 block, 7 p.m. Sept. 1 to 8:10 a.m. Sept. 2. Cash was stolen from a salon entered by breaking a window.

Grand Champion Dr., 500 block, noon June 1 to Aug. 30. An attempt was made to enter a residence by prying open a window.

Montgomery Ave. W., 700 block, 4:59 to 11:30 p.m. Aug. 27. A cellphone and cash were stolen from a person who had left the property by a sidewalk.

Pasture Side Way, 100 block, 5:30 p.m. Aug. 30 to 6:30 a.m. Aug. 31. A GPS device was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Reading Terr., 200 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 27 to 7 a.m. Aug. 28. Eight solar lights were stolen from a yard at a residence.

Rockville Pike, 1500 block, 9 p.m. Sept. 1 to 9:35 a.m. Sept. 2. A business was entered by forcing a side door.

Shady Grove Rd., 14900 block, 11:08 p.m. Sept. 1 to 9:24 a.m. Sept. 2. Cash was stolen from a restaurant entered by breaking a side window.

Southlawn Lane, 14600 block, 4:30 p.m. Aug. 26 to 10:30 a.m. Aug. 27. An attempt was made to enter a shed at a business by kicking in a wall and trying to pry open a bay door.

Tweed St., 1700 block, 6 a.m. Aug. 27 to 6 p.m. Sept. 3. A residence was entered by force.

Twinbrook Pkwy., 12400 block, May 23 to Aug. 23. A store audit revealed that a recording microphone and a software controller had been stolen.

Veirs Mill Rd., 1900 block, 5:30 p.m. Aug. 28. A 35-year-old man was charged with theft.

Veirs Mill Rd., 1900 block, 6:16 p.m. Aug. 31. A 47-year-old man was charged with theft.

Veirs Mill Rd., 1900 block, 9:26 p.m. Sept. 1. A 37-year-old man was charged with theft.

Veirs Mill Rd., 1900 block, 4:15 p.m. Sept. 2. A 29-year-old woman was charged with theft.

Watkins Pond Blvd., 500 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 27 to 8 a.m. Aug. 31. A GPS device was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

University Blvd., 900 block, 12:39 a.m. Sept. 3. A 26-year-old man was arrested on charges of police obstruction and with making a false statement.

ROBBERIES

Boston Ave., 400 block, 8:06 p.m. Aug. 30. Two males threatened a pedestrian and robbed her of a purse, then fled on foot.

Baltimore Ave., 7300 block, 9:36 p.m. Sept. 3. Property was stolen from a residence.
