THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Ambler Dr., 4400 block, Aug. 31 to Sept. 1. A set of golf clubs, a GPS unit and vehicle registration cards were among property stolen from four unlocked vehicles.

Bradmoor Dr., 8700 block, 10:30 a.m. Aug. 29. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Brookdale neighborhood, 12:01 to 7 a.m. Aug. 30. A GPS unit and an iPod were among property stolen from two vehicles, one of which was entered by force.

Old Columbia Pike and Tree Top Lane, 8:52 p.m. Aug. 31. Several people, one armed with a weapon, threatened a person at a bus stop and demanded property, then fled empty-handed.

Prince Phillip Dr., 18100 block, 8:35 p.m. Aug. 29. Two District men, ages 23 and 24, and an 18-year-old man of no fixed address were arrested in connection with an assault and robbery.

Amherst Ave., 11400 block, 4 a.m. Sept. 1. Two men threatened a person in a convenience store parking lot. A 20-year-old Germantown man and a 22-year-old Gaithersburg man were arrested.

Georgia Ave., 11100 block, 1:15 a.m. Aug. 31. A man threatened and robbed a person.

University Blvd. W., 2600 block, 10:15 a.m. Aug. 31. An armed robbery occurred in a bank parking lot. A 55-year-old woman of no fixed address was arrested.

Horizon Run Rd., 9600 block, 2:49 a.m. Sept. 2. Two acquaintances fought with each other.

Ridgeline Dr., 10200 block, 10:30 p.m. Sept. 1 to 2:20 a.m. Sept. 4. Two people attacked an acquaintance. No serious injuries were reported.

Flower Hill Way, 18200 block, 4 p.m. Aug. 30. Three men threatened and robbed a person.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Kentlands area, Aug. 30 to 31. Two iPods, coins and sunglasses were among property stolen from six unlocked vehicles, four of which were parked on Chevy Chase Street.

Labelle Lane, 9200 block, 1:30 p.m. Aug. 28. A break-in occurred at a residence. Two males were seen leaving the premises empty-handed.

Longdraft Rd., 17000 block, 5 a.m. Sept. 2 to 6 a.m. Sept. 3. Property was stolen from a veterinary clinic entered by force.

Meadowvale Terr., 7800 block, 7 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Aug. 30. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Smoothstone Way, 18900 block, 2:20 p.m. Sept. 3. A residence was entered by force. A 25-year-old Suitland man was arrested at the scene.

Ridgway Ave., 5900 block, 9:45 p.m. Sept. 5. A woman threatened a pedestrian and demanded her cellphone. After a struggle, the assailant fled empty-handed.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Cedar Lane, 300 block, 8 a.m. Aug. 14 to 4 p.m. Sept. 6. Four pieces of jewelry and financial documents were stolen from a residence.

Gibbs St., 100 block, 10:30 p.m. Sept. 7. A 27-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were charged with theft.

Gude Dr. E., 1500 block, 5:27 a.m. Sept. 6. Two males were seen taking 30 pallets from a storage area outside a business.

Martins Lane, 300 block, 12:45 to 3:15 p.m. Sept. 8. A wallet was stolen from a backpack at a recreation facility.

Monroe St., 700 block, 12:01 a.m. Jan. 1 to 6 p.m. Sept. 2. Several pieces of jewelry were stolen from an apartment.

Twinbrook Pkwy., 700 block, 9:20 to 9:30 a.m. Sept. 8. A cellphone was stolen from a desk where it had been left behind.

First St., 1200 block, 4 p.m. Sept. 4. A video game console and six video games were stolen from a residence entered through the unlocked front door.

Carroll Ave., 7600 block, 9:45 p.m. Sept. 8. Property was stolen from a hospital. A man was seen concealing the property in a backpack.

Eastern Ave., 6600 block, 10:30 a.m. Sept. 9. Property was stolen from a vehicle.

Elm Ave., 100 block, 11:18 a.m. Sept. 11. An attempt was made to break into a residence through a back entrance, triggering an alarm. Three males were seen fleeing the premises in a white sedan that had parked in the driveway just before the incident occurred.

Elm Ave., 1000 block, 5:20 a.m. Sept. 12. Property was stolen from four vehicles.

Flower Ave., 7600 block, 1:14 p.m. Sept. 8. Property was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.
