WEAPONS OFFENSES

Stonestreet Ave. N., 100 block, 4:45 p.m. April 16. A 26-year-old Gaithersburg man was arrested after police executed a search warrant at an automotive business and found several weapons.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bettstrail Way, 1100 block, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 18. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Dundee Rd., 2000 block, 5 p.m. April 22 to 2:30 p.m. April 23. A vehicle was entered and searched. There was no sign of forced entry, and nothing was reported missing.

Edmonston Dr., 1200 block, 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. April 18. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Chieftain Ave., 16000 block, April 19 to 22. Property was stolen from a construction site at a church entered by force.

Derwood Cir., 300 block, 4:40 a.m. April 17. A break-in occurred at a towing business. There was no sign of forced entry, and nothing was reported missing.

Grandin Ave., 900 block, noon to 7 p.m. April 20. Medicine was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Rockville Pike, 1700 block, 9 p.m. April 19 to 10 a.m. April 20. A briefcase was stolen from a vehicle in a garage at a hotel.

Query Mill Rd., 13200 block, 10 p.m. April 22 to 7 a.m. April 23. Cash was stolen from two unlocked vehicles.

Twinbrook Pkwy., 13200 block, 12:33 to 2:51 p.m. April 23. Two residences were entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

Upper Rock Cir., unit block, April 23 to 24. A vehicle was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

Veirs Mill Rd., 1700 block, 10 p.m. April 22 to 7 a.m. April 23. A stereo was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Nicholson Lane, 5100 block, 5:30 p.m. April 20. A man inappropriately touched someone and then fled.

Pearl St., 7500 block, 3 p.m. April 17. A person threatened a pedestrian and fled.

ROBBERIES

Wisconsin and Highland avenues, 6 a.m. April 15. A man assaulted and robbed a person of property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

East-West Hwy., 4300 block, April 17 to 18. Property was stolen from an office. There was no sign of forced entry.

East-West Hwy., 1700 block, Leonard Dr., 8800 block, Rosemary Hills Dr., 1900 block, Ross Rd., 2400 block and 16th St., 8500 block, April 17 to 18. Airbags were stolen from five vehicles in parking lots.

81st St., 6600 block, 8 a.m. to 5:40 p.m. April 22. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Essex Ave., 4900 block, noon April 21. A break-in occurred at a residence. There was no sign of forced entry, and nothing was reported missing.

Rudyard Dr., 6100 block, 3 to 10 p.m. April 20. A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in an open residential garage.

Wisconsin Ave., 8200 block, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 17. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Lockwood Dr., 11600 block, 10:30 p.m. April 6. A domestic aggravated assault occurred.

ROBBERIES

Castle Blvd., 13800 block, 5:55 a.m. April 19. A man in a parking lot assaulted and robbed a person of property at knifepoint.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Dixon Ave., 8200 block, 10:30 a.m. April 19 to 4:10 p.m. April 22. Two commercial burglaries occurred at a government agency’s facilities. Property was stolen, and there was no sign of forced entry.

Gracefield Rd., 2900 block, 11 a.m. April 20 to 10 a.m. April 22. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Hedin Dr., 9700 block, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. April 15. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Legato Terr., 400 block, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 19. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Ripley St., 1100 block, 7 p.m. April 15 to 6 a.m. April 16. Property was stolen from a residence under construction entered by force.

Georgia Ave., 18000 block, 7:01 p.m. April 17. An aggravated assault occurred at a fast-food restaurant.

ROBBERIES

Veirs Mill Rd., 11000 block, 4:54 p.m. April 17. An armed robbery occurred in a mall bathroom. A 20-year-old White Oak man and a 27-year-old Burtonsville man were arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Aspen Hill Rd., 4100 block, April 19 to 20. An attempt was made to enter a radiology office by force.

Elm Grove Cir., 400 block, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 18. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Glenhaven Dr., 10500 block, 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. April 19. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Jennings Ct., 2500 block, 6:30 p.m. April 20. A break-in occurred at a residence. There was no sign of forced entry, and nothing was reported missing.

Loxford Terr., 1100 block, 9:50 a.m. to noon April 20. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Contour and Horizon Run roads, 5 p.m. April 23. A strong-arm robbery occurred. A 17-year-old Montgomery Village man was arrested.

George St. and Cedar Ave., 2:30 a.m. April 21. Two men assaulted and attempted to rob a pedestrian of property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Mills Choice Rd., 19100 block, 4 p.m. April 20 to 3 p.m. April 21. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Quince Orchard Blvd., 400 block, 11 p.m. April 18. A 43-year-old Darnestown man entered a motel by force and was arrested. Nothing was reported missing.

Frederick Ave. S., 16400 block, 1:45 a.m. April 21. A gas station was entered by force, and property was stolen.

Russell Ave., unit block, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 16. Property was stolen from outside a residence.

Rockville

ASSAULTS

Clagett Dr., 1200 block, 8:25 to 8:30 p.m. April 22. A 36-year-old man was arrested for second-degree assault.

Hungerford Dr., 300 block. A 24-year-old man was arrested on April 24 for an assault and robbery that occurred on March 16. The assailant was charged with robbery and first- and second-degree assault.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bullard Cir., 100 block, 3 p.m. April 5 to 7 a.m. April 8. A microwave, a refrigerator and a stove were stolen from a house under construction.

Evelyn Dr., 1700 block, 2 p.m. April 27 to 9 p.m. April 28. A laptop, a jewelry box and two identification cards were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked basement bathroom window.

Great Falls Rd., 600 block, 8:07 to 8:45 p.m. April 27. A purse was stolen from a vehicle.

Higgins Pl., 1100 block, 5 p.m. April 25 to 9 a.m. April 26. A bottle of vodka, two pairs of designer sunglasses and a bank card were stolen from a vehicle in a parking garage.

Longhill Dr., 1400 block, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 28. A laptop was stolen from a residence entered through a rear sliding-glass door.

Lorrain Dr., 300 block, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 27. Someone attempted to enter a residence through an unlocked rear door.

Richard Montgomery Dr., 200 block, 5:05 p.m. April 26. An unattended cellphone was stolen from a bench at a school.

Rockville Pike, 1600 block, 4:40 to 5 p.m. April 23. Three women entered a retail store, placed several bottles of perfume and cologne from a display shelf into their bags and walked past cash registers without paying for the merchandise.

Shady Grove Rd., 14900 block, 6:30 p.m. April 24. A 63-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting.

Takoma Park

ASSAULTS

Houston Ave., 600 block, 12:35 p.m. April 28. A 22-year-old man was arrested for having open warrants for first-degree assault, robbery and related charges.

New Hampshire Ave., 6900 block, 7:24 p.m. April 26. Two men assaulted each other over a parking space. No charges were filed.

Hudson Ave., 700 block, 4:30 p.m. April 30. A 15-year-old girl was arrested for second-degree assault after she hit another woman during an argument.

University Blvd., 1300 block, 10:11 p.m. April 27. Two men assaulted someone during an argument, then fled.

ROBBERIES

University Blvd., 1100 block, 5:45 p.m. April 29. A man approached a male bank customer using an ATM and asked for assistance. The man grabbed the customer’s cash and fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Carroll Ave., 7000 block, 1:02 p.m. April 26. A woman took merchandise from a business without paying for it.

Sycamore Ave., 6900 block, 9:15 p.m. April 26. Property was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked window.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

New Hampshire Ave., 7400 block, 7:40 p.m. April 30. A 54-year-old man was arrested for driving a stolen vehicle.

OTHER ARRESTS

Takoma Ave., 7600 block, 5 p.m. May 1. A 22-year-old man was arrested for having an open warrant for destruction of property and related charges.
