ROBBERIES

Moccasin Lane, 7600 block, 4:08 p.m. May 3. Three males forcefully took property from several people.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Lamplighter Lane, 11100 block, May 1 to 3. Property was stolen from a residence.

Straw Bale Lane, 13600 block, May 1 to 2. A residence was entered by force. A 47-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man were arrested.

FRAUD

Rockville Pike, 12000 block, 1:20 p.m. May 3. A man and a woman used a scheme to obtain cash from someone. They fled in a blue Mazda 626 with District tags.

Wisconsin Ave., 5400 block, 11 a.m. April 30. A man in a retail clothing store threatened someone with a weapon, then fled.

Albemarle St., 5200 block, midnight to 6 a.m. May 1. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Albemarle St., 5200 block, 2 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. May 1. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Crider Brook Way, 8700 block, April 29. A laptop, a purse and a pair of glasses were among items stolen from two unlocked vehicles.

Democracy Blvd., 7100 block, April 30 to May 1. Property was stolen from two businesses entered by force at a mall.

Landon Lane, 6000 block, 10:45 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. April 30. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Lux Lane, 6100 block, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 1. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Montgomery Ave., 4500 block, 6 to 7:15 p.m. May 2. Property was stolen from a business.

Newbridge Dr., 9500 block, 12:20 to 4:20 p.m. May 2. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Perthshire Ct., 6200 block, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. April 30. Property was stolen from a residence.

Rugby Rd., 4800 block, April 30 to May 1. A man entered a business by force, took property and fled.

Sinnott Ct., 10000 block, April 30. A break-in occurred at a residence. Two Silver Spring men, 20, and 33, were arrested.

St. Elmo Ave. and Arlington Rd., April 29 to May 7. Property was stolen from two vehicles in commercial lots.

Windsor Lane, 4600 block, 4:30 a.m. April 30. A 31-year-old District man entered a residence and was arrested.

Woodmont Ave., 7700 block, May 5 to 6. Property was stolen from a spa entered by force.

Robey Rd. and Robey Terr., 8 p.m. May 5. Two men inappropriately touched someone.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

Mozart Dr. and Brahms Ave., 10 a.m. May 6. A man exposed himself to someone, then fled in a silver 1997 Volkswagen with Maryland tags.

ASSAULTS

Colgate Way, 13600 block, 4:11 a.m. May 5. A domestic aggravated assault occurred.

ROBBERIES

Barron St., 8600 block, 11:15 p.m. May 3. Two men assaulted and robbed a person of property.

Calverton Blvd., 2800 block, 9:46 p.m. May 6. Two men robbed a person of property by force. An 18-year-old Silver Spring man and a 19-year-old Beltsville man were arrested.

Dino Dr., 15200 block, 3:39 a.m. May 5. A man assaulted and robbed someone of property.

Silver Spring Ave., 800 block, midnight May 6. A male youth with a weapon threatened and robbed someone of property.

Georgia Ave. and Colesville Rd., 7:30 a.m. April 30. A man threatened and robbed someone of property.

Ebbtide Cir., Flag Harbor Dr., and Walnut Cove Cir., May 1. GPS units and an iPod were among items stolen from three unlocked vehicles.

Lark Song Terr., 18900 block, 10:30 p.m. May 3. Tools were stolen from a vehicle. A 48-year-old Capitol Heights man was arrested.

Manor View Cir., 21500 block, 4 a.m. May 6. A 21-year-old Clarksburg man was arrested and charged with multiple vehicle-related thefts.

Sceptre Ridge Terr., 11100 block, 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. May 2. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Walkers Choice Rd., 10 p.m. May 1. A female assaulted and robbed someone of property. The female is described as wearing a black leather jacket and black high-top sneakers.

Bluebird Terr., 9200 block, 9:30 a.m. May 7. A break-in occurred at a residence.

Club Lake Rd., 19600 block, 9 a.m. May 1. Two men entered a residence.

Frederick Ave. S., 16500 block, 11 p.m. May 7. A 29-year-old man of no fixed addressed entered a hair salon and was arrested.

Game Preserve Rd., 1:30 to 3:45 a.m. April 30. Property was stolen from a residence.

Stedmall Ct., unit block, 8 p.m. May 2 to 6 a.m. May 3. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force, and an attempt was made to enter another.

Stedmall Terr., 8300 block, 8 p.m. May 2 to 6 a.m. May 3. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Wootton Crest Way, 10100 block, 6 a.m. May 5 to 7 a.m. May 6. Property was stolen from two unsecured homes under construction.

ASSAULTS

Halpine Rd., 5800 block, 5:10 to 5:23 p.m. May 6. A 66-year-old man was arrested for second-degree assault, alcohol/beverage intoxication endangerment and disorderly conduct.

ROBBERIES

Great Pines Ct., unit block, 8:30 p.m. May 9. A man accosted a female business owner as she was getting out of her vehicle. He attempted to snatch the woman’s bag, which contained her purse and proceeds from the business. When the woman refused to give up her property, the man struck her, took her bag and fled with a male accomplice.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Broadwood Dr., 300 block, 3:45 to 4:45 a.m. May 12. A laptop was stolen from an unlocked residence.

Gruenther Ave., 300 block, 8:30 to 11 a.m. May 7. A laptop, a camera, jewelry, cash, a cellphone and a check were stolen from a residence entered by force through a rear door.

Montgomery Ave. W., 100 block, 5 p.m. May 6 to 11 a.m. May 8. Copper gutter downspouts were stolen from a church.

Pier Dr., 5600 block, 9:30 to 11:20 a.m. May 8. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by force through a rear door.

Rockville Pike, 1500 block, 11to 11:05 a.m. May 7. An iPad was stolen from an unattended shopping cart.

Rockville Pike, 1500 block, 4:56 p.m. May 8. Two males, 16 and 20, were arrested for theft.

Stanley Ave., 2000 block, 2:58 p.m. May 11. A laptop was stolen from a room at a group rental house.

OTHER ARRESTS

Gude Dr. W., 500 block, 5:44 to 5:55 p.m. May 9. A 46-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (PCP) and four traffic violations.

Rockville Pike, 1300 block, 11:42 p.m. May 9. A 23-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct and two counts of obstructing and hindering.

Takoma Park

Larch Ave., 1000 block, 12:42 p.m. May 16. A male accosted a male pedestrian and asked to use his cellphone. The pedestrian refused, and the male forcibly took it from his pocket and fled.

Carroll Ave., 6900 block, 2:13 p.m. May 15. A male opened a locker at a yoga studio, took a wallet and fled.

Carroll Ave., 7000 block, 7:15 p.m. May 16. A backpack was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

Elm Ave., 900 block, 10:41 a.m. May 16. Multiple items were stolen from a vehicle.

Gude Dr., 6700 block, 10:51 a.m. May 12. A television was stolen from a residence.

Lincoln Ave., 400 block, 6:20 p.m. May 16. An unlocked vehicle was entered and searched.

New Hampshire Ave., 6300 block, 4:58 p.m. May 16. A male took an employee’s wallet from a counter and fled.

Poplar Ave., 6600 block, 1:01 p.m. May 16. Two briefcases were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Prince Georges Ave., 6800 block, 6:23 p.m. May 16. A purse was stolen from a vehicle.

Sycamore Ave., 7100 block, 1:50 p.m. May 12. Two cellphones were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

University Blvd., 1100 block, 7:47 p.m. May 11. A male entered an employee area at a business and took an unattended backpack.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Kansas Ave., 6400 block, 8:30 a.m. May 10. An attempted vehicle theft was reported.

Poplar Ave., 7100 block, 4:18 p.m. May 18. A male was seen stealing a burgundy 2008 Honda CHF50 moped parked on the street.

Roanoke Ave., 8300 block, 10:46 a.m. May 12. A green 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport was stolen from a parking lot.
