Fox Meadow Lane, 9200 block, 4:10 a.m. Jan. 16. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Heathwood Ct., 7000 block, Jan. 16 to 21. A break-in occurred at a residence.

Sinnott Dr., 10000 block, 11 a.m. Jan. 17. A vehicle was stolen using a key that had been left inside. Two 15-year-old Bethesda males were arrested.

Big Horn Dr., 12800 block, 10:50 a.m. Jan. 17. Two males armed with a weapon robbed a person of property.

Carroll and 11th avenues, 8:20 p.m. Jan. 22. Two males wearing masks demanded property from a person, then fled empty-handed.

Colesville Rd., 8300 block, 9:35 p.m. Jan. 16. Three males threatened and robbed a person.

Eastern Ave., 7700 block, 11:50 p.m. Jan. 19. A male armed with a weapon robbed a person of property.

Eastern Ave., 7700 block, 8:25 p.m. Jan. 21. A man threatened and robbed a person.

Outlet Dr., 13800 block, 4:55 p.m. Jan. 17. A group of eight males threatened a person in a parking lot behind a grocery store, then fled with property.

Outlet Dr., 13800 block, 9:40 p.m. Jan. 15. A man threatened and robbed a woman at a grocery store. A 45-year-old Silver Spring man was arrested at the scene.

Piney Branch Rd., 8600 block, 8:36 p.m. Jan. 22. Two males wearing masks and armed with a weapon demanded property from a person, then fled empty-handed.

Georgia Ave., 12500 block, 7:55 p.m. Jan. 15. A man threatened and robbed a person at a Metro station. An 18-year-old Wheaton man was arrested.

Brookes and Park avenues, 9:30 p.m. Jan. 16. An attempted armed robbery occurred. Two Gaithersburg males, ages 17 and 20, and a Gaithersburg female, 17, were arrested.

Frederick Ave. N., 600 block, 8:45 p.m. Jan. 19. An armed robbery occurred at a bank ATM machine. A 22-year-old Gaithersburg man was arrested.

Frederick Ave. S., 600 block, 8 p.m. Jan. 17. Two males discharged a fire extinguisher inside a restaurant, then grabbed a cash register from the counter and fled the premises.

Royal Bonnet Cir. and Odendhal Ave., 12:45 a.m. Jan. 19. A man threatened and robbed a person.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Apple Ridge Pl., 19000 block, 8:15 a.m. Jan. 14 to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 15. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Bramble Bush Ct., 9000 block, Jan. 9. A break-in occurred at a residence.

Chestertown St., 500 block, 5 a.m. Jan. 21. An unlocked vehicle was entered. A 31-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested at the scene of the incident.

Frederick Ave. N., 200 block, 12:45 to 1 p.m. Jan. 19. A cellphone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. A 19-year-old St. Mary’s County man was arrested.

Frederick Ave. N., 500 block, 11 to 11:40 a.m. Jan. 16. Credit cards were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Girard St., 400 block, 6 p.m. Jan. 6. Property was stolen from a residence. A 29-year-old Gaithersburg man was arrested at the scene.

King James Way, 17000 block, 2:30 p.m. Jan. 18. A motorist was threatened and robbed of a vehicle. A 19-year-old Gaithersburg man and 17-year-old Gaithersburg female were arrested on assault and carjacking charges.

Little Pond Pl., 10100 block, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 15. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Queenair Dr., 8000 block, 11:15 p.m. Jan. 16. Property was stolen from outside a roofing business.

Travis Ct., 100 block, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Jan. 15. Property was stolen from a residence.

Wheelwright Dr., 19900 block, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Jan. 22. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force.

Rockville Pike, 700 block, 9:01 a.m. Jan. 19. A 48-year-old man was arrested on an assault charge.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Balmoral Dr., 2800 block, 8 a.m. Jan. 20 to 8 p.m. Jan. 23. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a basement door.

Bradford Dr., 500 block, 3:45 to 11:59 p.m. Jan. 27. A laptop computer, a Global Positioning System unit, a stereo system, prescription medication and a recipe book were stolen from a vehicle.

Dawson Ave., unit block, 8 a.m. Jan. 20 to 10 p.m. Jan. 23. Cash was stolen from an apartment.

Horners Lane N., 400 block, 5 p.m. Jan. 21 to 6 p.m. Jan. 22. A vehicle window was stolen from a vehicle.

Hungerford Dr., 800 block, Park Rd., 200 block, and Veirs Mill Rd., 2100 block, Jan. 8 to 11. Following an investigation into a series of break-ins at these locations, a 35-year-old man was arrested. Charges included theft, four counts of second-degree burglary and four counts of malicious destruction of property.

Martins Lane, 300 block, 4 to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 19. A cellphone and a wallet were stolen from a locker at a recreation center.

Rockville Pike, 800 block, 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 24. A purse was stolen from a vehicle.

Stonestreet Ave. N., 100 block, 11 a.m. Jan. 27. Two vehicle engines, a vehicle transfer case and a vehicle transmission shifter were stolen from a business. A man was seen fleeing with the property in a red Ford F-150 pickup truck.

Tower Oaks Blvd., 3200 block, noon to 5 p.m. Jan. 25. A wallet was stolen from a purse in an office.

Veirs Mill Rd., 2000 block, 5:33 p.m. Jan. 24. A cellphone that had been left behind by a customer was stolen from a counter at a business.

First St., 1000 block, 11:30 p.m. Jan. 17 to 3:30 a.m. Jan. 18. An attempt was made to enter a business by forcing doors.

Takoma Ave., 7300 block, 11:44 p.m. Jan. 26. A stereo faceplate was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.

Takoma Ave., 7300 block, 11:55 p.m. Jan. 26. A vehicle was entered by breaking a window.

Takoma Ave., 7300 block, 9:08 a.m. Jan. 29. License plates were stolen from a vehicle parked on the street.

Wildwood Dr., 7500 block, 8:11 a.m. Jan. 26. Stereo equipment was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.
