Gainsborough Rd., 10700 block, 2:40 p.m. March 5. A man attacked a person at a middle school and demanded property, then fled empty-handed.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Braxfield Ct., 12200 block, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Feb. 28. Property was stolen from two unlocked vehicles.

Crossfield Ct., 5100 block, 5 p.m. Feb. 27 to 7:30 a.m. Feb. 28. Property was stolen from two unlocked vehicles.

Darnestown Rd., 12000 block, 7 p.m. March 2 to 9 a.m. March 3. Property was stolen from a garden center entered by force.

Frederick Rd., 16200 block, 9 p.m. Feb. 26 to 8 a.m. Feb. 27. Auto parts were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

Green Watch Way, 11200 block, 7:37 p.m. March 3. A residence was entered by force. Two males were seen fleeing the premises empty-handed.

Jones Lane, 15100 block, Feb. 25 to March 12. Property was stolen from a shed entered by force at an elementary school.

Southlawn Lane, 15100 block, March 9 to 11. An attempt was made to enter a business by force.

Twinbrook Pkwy., 13200 block, 6 p.m. March 4 to 8:30 a.m. March 5. Power tools were among property stolen from two vehicles, one of which had been left unlocked.

Washington St. N., 400 block, 8:45 a.m. to 6:05 p.m. Feb. 28. A registration document was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Washington St. N., 400 block, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 28. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Weeping Cherry Dr., 14000 block, 5 to 8 p.m. March 6. Property was stolen from a residence.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Fishers Lane, 5600 block, 3 p.m. Feb. 27 to 7:45 a.m. Feb. 28. A gray 2010 Ford was stolen from in front of a business.

Twinbrook Pkwy., 13200 block, 8 p.m. March 9 to 6 a.m. March 10. A white 1998 Ford was stolen.

ROBBERIES

Duvall Rd., 2800 block, 2:33 p.m. March 8. Four teenagers, one armed with a weapon, demanded property from a male teenager. Two Fairland males, ages 15 and 17, a Burtonsville male, 16, and a Silver Spring male, 16, were arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Castle Blvd., 13900 block, 1 to 1:30 p.m. March 4. A residence was entered by force.

Castle Blvd., 14000 block, 5:20 p.m. March 11. A break-in occurred at a residence. Three Burtonsville males, ages 13, 14 and 16, were arrested.

Galway Dr., 12300 block, 8:30 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. March 7. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Northwest Dr., 700 block, 4 a.m. March 8. An attempt was made to enter a residence by force. A 19-year-old Takoma Park man was arrested at the scene.

Sonata Way, 600 block, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 8. Property was stolen from a residence.

Bel Pre Rd. and Dunsinane Dr., 12:45 p.m. March 7. Two males threatened a pedestrian and demanded property, then fled empty-handed.

Hungerford Dr., 300 block, 2:19 a.m. March 16. A man threatened and robbed a pedestrian, then fled with two male accomplices in a dark-blue older-model vehicle.

Rockville Pike, 1700 block, 3 a.m. March 15. A man who implied that he had a gun robbed a business of cash.

WEAPONS OFFENSES

Great Falls Rd., 600 block, 2:15 p.m. March 8. A 13-year-old male was charged with possession of a concealed weapon on school property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Evans St., 100 block, 9:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 17. A residence was entered by force.

Montgomery Ave. W., 200 block, 9 p.m. March 11 to 3:59 p.m. March 15. A cellphone, passport, cash and clothes were among property stolen from a locker entered by force at a homeless shelter.

New Hampshire Ave., 7400 block, 6:57 a.m. March 17. A man attacked police officers responding to a report of a disturbance. A 25-year-old man was charged with assault and disorderly conduct.

Kennewick Ave., 7800 block, 9:31 p.m. March 6. Three males robbed a male pedestrian at gunpoint.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Carroll Ave., 7600 block, 11:59 p.m. March 19. A male took property from an ambulance.

Holton Lane, 1100 block, 12:31 a.m. March 15. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Kansas Ave., 6400 block, 9:51 a.m. March 15. Property was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

Linden Ave., 1100 block, 8:21 a.m. March 15. Property was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

Lockney Ave., 8100 block, 5:17 p.m. March 19. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

New Hampshire Ave., 6300 block, 12:42 p.m. March 18. Merchandise was stolen from a store. A 39-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
