●City in Bloom. Through March 31, look for blossom projections and pink lighting on buildings throughout the area, including the Newseum, the Ronald Reagan Building, Union Market and more.
●Macy’s Cherry Blossom Flower Show: A Celebration of Music. Enjoy live Okame cherry trees and Japanese gardens as well as lunchtime musical performances. Macy’s Metro Center, 1201 G St. NW. 12 p.m. Metro: Metro Center.
●Chanoyu: The Japanese Way of Tea. Learn the history of the tea ceremony, see a demonstration and enjoy the serving of tea. Pre-registration required. 12:30 to 2 p.m. Japan Information and Culture Center, 1150 18th St. NW, Gallery 100. Metro: Farragut North.
