●Cherry Blast: Art + Music Dance Party. Produced with the Pink Line Project, Cherry Blast is a multimedia art and music experience. 8 p.m.-2 a.m., 500 Penn St. NE. Tickets: $10. Metro: NoMa-Gallaudet U (New York Avenue).
● Seeds, Pods and Saplings: The Convergence of Three. This special exhibition by the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities will bring together works by sculptor Yuriko Yamaguchi, painter Michi Fujita and multimedia artist Iona Rozeal Brown to form a landscape in bloom. 200 I St. SE. 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Metro: Navy Yard-Ballpark.
●Cherry Blossom Photo Safaris, Cherry Blossoms by Land and Sea. A workshop by boat in travel photography and camera use, using the morning sun on the cherry blossoms along Hains Point and Ohio Drive from the Potomac River as the backdrop. 1501 Maine Ave. SW, paddleboat rental station. 10:00-12:30 p.m. Cost: $89 per person, plus $25 for accompanying non-photographer guest. Metro: Smithsonian, L’Enfant Plaza.
