Saturday, March 30

Blossom Kite Festival. Participate in a day-long event featuring kitemaking competitions, flight demonstrations by master kitemakers from across the country, kite ballet performances and more. Washington Monument grounds, Constitution Avenue and 17th Street NW. 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Metro: Farragut West.

Culture Day at the Fairfax County Capital Region Visitor Center. Free gifts, craft demonstrations, and festival maps and information. Fairfax County Visitor Center, Tysons Corner Center, Nordstrom Wing’s 2nd floor, 1961 Chain Bridge Rd., McLean. Noon to 3 p.m.

Mask Vignettes 2013: A Therapeutic Noh Theater Performance. Costumes and masks, music improvised by professionals, and chanted poetry will be part of performances by individuals with differing abilities. The Art and Drama Therapy Institute Inc., Keiko Komatsubara Noh Stage, 327 S St. NE. Reservations required. 1 to 2:30 p.m.
