●Earth Month at Union Station. Earth Month will feature a film festival, a farmers’ market, alternative energy demonstrations, a green fashion show and a science fair with local schools. Ongoing. Metro: Union Station.
●Kimono sale and fundraiser at Mandarin Oriental. Coinciding with an exhibit curated by Arise Bazaar, more than 1,000 Kimono and other Japanese wares are available to purchase. Proceeds support the festival and the Japan-America Society of Washington. 1330 Maryland Ave. SW. Metro: Smithsonian.
