●National Park Service Cherry Blossom Ranger Talks. Ranger-led talks begin at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, Thomas Jefferson Memorial and Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, daily at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Metro: Smithsonian.
●Noh Theater: A Lecture and Demonstration by Sirkku M. Sky Hiltunen. Learn basic history of the classic Noh Theater dating to its founders, Kannami (1333-1384) and his son Zeami (1363-1443). Demonstrations follow an introduction on the use of masks, fans, some chanting, dance kata, choreography and costuming. 2-4 p.m. The Art and Drama Therapy Institute, 4th and S streets NE. ●All Digital Cherry Blossoms. A workshop by boat in travel photography and camera use, using the morning sun on the cherry blossoms along Hains Point and Ohio Drive from the Potomac River. Master the use of digital camera settings for intimate blossom close-ups under the direction of professional digital photographer Melanie Otto. $99. Meet at the paddle boat parking lot entrance, 1501 Maine Ave. SW. 6:15-9 a.m. Metro: Smithsonian, L’Enfant Plaza.
