Barbara M. Crawford, homemaker

Barbara M. Crawford, 68, a Fairfax County homemaker who belonged to St. Timothy Catholic Church in Chantilly, died April 2 at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital.

She had cancer, said her son, Justin Crawford.

Barbara Marie Witkowski was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and settled in the Washington area in the early 1980s. She was a salesclerk at a Hallmark store in Reston for about 15 years beginning in the 1990s.

Her husband of 35 years, Walter C. Crawford, died in 2010. Survivors include two children, Justin Crawford of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Lauren Crawford of Blacksburg,Va.; and a sister.
