Carole Ann Simon, flight attendant

Carole Ann Simon, a Northwest Airlines flight attendant for 37 years, died Dec. 15 at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington County. She was 68.

The cause was multiple myeloma said her husband, Christopher Killelea.

Ms. Simon was born in Lakewood, Ohio. She began her career with Northwest Airlines in 1966 and retired as a senior lead flight attendant. She worked primarily on international flights to Hong Kong, Beijing, Tokyo and London.

She settled in the Washington area in 1967 and lived in Falls Church.

Survivors include her husband, Christopher Killelea of Falls Church. They had been together for six years and married about six months ago, he said.
