Lillian G. Sutton, a secretary for 35 years at what is now the Naval Surface Warfare Center at White Oak, Md., died Oct. 23 at Montgomery Hospice’s Casey House in Rockville. She was 89.

The cause was complications from a broken hip, said her daughter in-law Catherine Sutton.
