Marion C. Plantholt, credit union branch manager

Marion C. Plantholt, 98, who retired in 1979 as a branch manager of the National Agricultural Research Center Federal Credit Union, died of congestive heart failure Dec. 18 at her home in Silver Spring.

A son, Jim Plantholt, confirmed the death.

Ms. Plantholt served 30 years with the NARC Federal Credit Union in Beltsville.

Marion Charlotte Koller was born in Westminster, in northern Maryland, and attended the old Blue Ridge College in New Windsor, Md.

Her husband of 56 years, Frederick J. Plantholt, died in 1993. Survivors include three children, Jim Plantholt of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Dick Plantholt of Laurel and Barbra Winter of Newbury Park, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
