Rose P. Caputo, secretary

Rose P. Caputo, 92, a secretary in the McLean offices of the military contractor TRW in the early 1980s, died Jan. 9 at her home in McLean after a heart attack.

A daughter, Elizabeth Crenshaw, confirmed the death.

Anna Rose Paolella was born in New Haven, Conn., to Italian immigrants and raised in Hamden, Conn. She spent much of her life in Connecticut and moved to the Washington area in 1977.

She was a member of St. John the Beloved Catholic Church in McLean.

Her husband of 51 years, Arnold P. Caputo, died in 1993. Their son, Arnold P. Caputo Jr., died in 1963.

Survivors include six children, Patricia Barrows of Alexandria, Pamela Keene of Vienna, Paula Daly of Arlington, Elizabeth Crenshaw of Washington, Thomas Caputo of Blue Bell, Pa., and Roseanne Schindelar of Sharon, Mass.; 19 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
