The shooting took place in the 3500 block of Duke Street, said Ashley Hildebrandt, a police spokeswoman.

Robert Falkner, who walked away from Fairfax County work release, was arrested Monday in New Jersey.
Police responded to a call at about 2 p.m. to a residence just west of Quaker Lane, Hildebrandt said. There was no other information immediately available about the domestic issue, the number of people involved or what preceded the shooting.
“We’re still trying to piece together exactly what happened,” Hildebrandt said.
