BRISTOW AREA

ASSAULTS

Ness Hollow Ct., 12900 block, 12:48 a.m. July 18. A resident called the Fire and Rescue Department when a bruised boy rang the doorbell. A 41-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man, both of Bristow, were charged with felony child abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The boy was placed in the custody of Child Protective Services.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

Sudley Manor Dr. and Linton Hall Rd., 7:05 p.m. July 22. A man on a trail exposed himself to a female juvenile pedestrian.

DUMFRIES AREA

ASSAULTS

Tompkins Ct., 18000 block, 3:37 a.m. July 21. A group of males assaulted a man, who was later treated for injuries.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Fuller Heights Rd., 19000 block, 4:40 to 6:30 p.m. July 20. A laptop computer, a video game system and games were stolen from a residence entered by prying a window.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Cavaletti Ct., 13500 block, 2:20 p.m. July 16 to 12:30 p.m. July 17. A golf cart was stolen from a residence entered through an open garage door.

MANASSAS AREA

ASSAULTS

Sudley Rd., 7700 block, 1:14 a.m. July 24. During a fight in a parking lot, a group assaulted two male acquaintances.

CHILD-CARE INCIDENTS

Irongate Way, 10200 block, 4:03 p.m. July 21. A woman left two young children home alone. A 23-year-old Manassas woman was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Birmingham Dr., 9500 block, 7:30 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. July 18. Items were stolen from a residence entered through an open window.

Dunster Ct., 11300 block, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 18. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

ROBBERIES

Jurgensen Dr., 3600 block, 3:47 a.m. July 21. A gunman robbed a woman of a purse.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Amidon Ave., 18500 block, 5:30 to 6 p.m. July 19. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

WOODBRIDGE AREA

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Oregon Ave., July 19. A man raped a female juvenile acquaintance in March 2010 and sent her an explicit text message this June. A 26-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

ASSAULTS

Dale Blvd., 2800 block, 7:41 p.m. July 17. A man in a store became impatient with a male employee and hit him in the face several times before fleeing. The employee was treated for injuries.

WEAPONS

John Diskin Cir., 15600 block, 9:35 p.m. July 13. During an argument, a man waved a handgun in the air. A 28-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

ROBBERIES

Darbydale Ave., 14800 block, 9 p.m. July 23. During an argument, a group of males assaulted two male juveniles and robbed them of cash and running shoes. A 34-year-old Woodbridge man and a 14-year-old boy were arrested.

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 14000 block, 3:20 p.m. July 17. Two males and two females demanded money from a male pedestrian in return for sexual favors from the females. The pedestrian refused and attempted to run. The males stopped the man and robbed him of cash at knifepoint. An 18-year-old Herndon woman and a 19-year-old Reston woman were charged with robbery, prostitution and gang participation. A Springfield male and a Woodbridge male, both 17, were charged with robbery, pandering and gang participation.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Battery Hill Cir., 2300 block, 9:43 p.m. July 23. Someone entered a residence through an unlocked door and fled empty-handed when a resident approached.
