Prince William County crime report

G St., 1400 block, 2:30 p.m. Aug. 11 to 7:38 p.m. Aug. 14. A laptop computer, a video game system and games were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked window.

Goa Pl., 12400 block, 11 a.m. Aug. 6. A man attempted to enter a residence through a rear door.

Granby Rd., 4100 block, 8:15 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Aug. 10. A residence was entered through an unlocked side door. Nothing was reported stolen.

Lakewood Dr., 15200 block, 7 p.m. July 26 to 6 p.m. Aug. 7. Someone attempted to enter a residence by prying two side doors.

Mersey Dr., 2200 block, 10:20 p.m. Aug. 13 to 5:30 a.m. Aug. 14. Cash and a wallet were stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window with a rock. The vehicle was inside an unlocked garage.

Minnieville Rd., 13300 block, 11:41 p.m. Aug. 10. A business was entered through a rear door. Nothing was reported stolen.

ASSAULTS

Sudley Rd., 9100 block, 9:15 a.m. Aug. 4. During an argument involving two men, a male relative of one of the men hit the other man on the head with a handgun. The gun discharged, injuring the man’s shoulder. A 34-year-old Manassas man was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Dumfries Rd., 10100 block, Aug. 4. A woman in a store put merchandise in a purse and attempted to leave. A 27-year-old Manassas woman was arrested.

Mathis Ave., 8600 block, 2:35 p.m. Aug. 12. A wallet was stolen from a hotel laundry room.

Miles Pl., 9000 block, 7 to 10 p.m. Aug. 11. Electronics and tools were stolen from a residence.

Sugarwood Lane, 8400 block, 4:10 p.m. Aug. 3. A woman entered an acquaintance’s residence by forcing a window. A 30-year-old Manassas woman was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Centreville Rd., 8500 block, 3:13 p.m. Aug. 8. A man stole two cases of beer, phone battery chargers and other property from a gas station store. An 18-year-old Manassas man was arrested.

Courtney Dr., 11:59 p.m. Aug. 11 to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 12. Someone attempted to enter a residence by damaging a front door with a rock and breaking a bedroom window with a brick.

Euclid Ave., 8100 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 11 to 9:30 a.m. Aug. 12. Two vehicles entered by breaking rear windows were searched. Nothing was reported stolen.

Holden Dr., 200 block, 12:01 to 8 a.m. Aug. 14. A Global Positioning System device and an MP3 player were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Matthew Dr., 11 a.m. Aug. 4 to 11:45 a.m. Aug. 5. A CD player and papers were stolen from a glove box inside a vehicle.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Manassas Dr., 11 p.m. Aug. 13 to 6:30 a.m. Aug. 14. A vehicle was stolen after it was left with the key in the the ignition. The vehicle was recovered, missing a Global Positioning System device, a tool bag and refrigeration gauges.
