BRISTOW AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bristow Center Dr., 10300 block, 12:28 a.m. Sept. 14. Two men entered a business through a rear door and stole cash.

DUMFRIES AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Fisherman Cove, 4600 block, 7 p.m. Sept. 14 to 7 p.m. Sept. 16. Someone entered a residence and forced open an interior door. Nothing was reported stolen.

MANASSAS AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Coverstone Dr., 10900 block, 6:45 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. Sept. 12. Cash was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked window.

Daisy Ct., 10800 block, 10:30 a.m. Sept. 12. A man stole two video game systems from a residence entered through an unlocked window. He fled when he found a resident inside a bedroom.

Falling Creek Dr., 11900 block, 7 p.m. Sept. 10 to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 11. Two handguns and two MP3 players were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front window. A 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old Gainesville man were arrested.

Keara Ct., 7700 block, 3:15 to 3:45 p.m. Sept. 14. A laptop computer, a video game system and other items were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

Sudley Rd., 7400 block, 5:52 p.m. Sept. 17. A male attempted to steal a cellphone from a store by cutting it out of the package. When an employee confronted him, the male swung the scissors at the man and fled the store with the phone.

TRIANGLE AREA

ASSAULTS

Purvis Dr., 18100 block, 12:38 p.m. Sept. 13. A woman squeezed an infant relative several times when she began to cry and forcibly put her in a bed. The 5-month-old infant was unresponsive and taken to a hospital, where she was in critical condition. A 20-year-old Triangle woman was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Katie Pl., 3700 block, 9:20 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. Sept. 13. A safe was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

WOODBRIDGE AREA

ASSAULTS

Bellona Rd., 14300 block, 8:14 a.m. Sept. 14. During an argument, a man knocked a male acquaintance to the ground and cut him with a knife. The man had earlier assaulted a female acquaintance prompting the male acquaintance to confront the man. A 47-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

Filarete St. and Feiss Ct., 5 p.m. Sept. 13. During an argument, a woman picked up a piece of glass from the road and cut a male acquaintance on the arm and torso. An 18-year-old Woodbridge woman was arrested.

Minnieville and Elm Farm Roads, Sept. 13. During an argument in a vehicle, a man hit a female acquaintance in the face. A 31-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

Woodfern Ct. and Antietam Rd., 9:40 p.m. Sept. 17. Several males in a vehicle fired several rounds of bullets at four male acquaintances walking in the area. One of the men was hit in the lower back and taken to a hospital. Another man was grazed by a bullet in the head.

Bethel Church Rd., 3200 block, 7 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Sept. 14. A video game system and games were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

Horner Rd., 1600 block, 1 p.m. Sept. 13 to 9 a.m. Sept. 14. Someone attempted to enter a residence by damaging a rear door.

Kenmar Dr., 13000 block, 7:50 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Sept. 14. A video game system and other electronics were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

Quate Lane, 13500 block, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 13. Someone entered a residence by forcing a rear door. Nothing was reported stolen.

Tide St., 13700 block, 8 a.m. Sept. 2 to 3 p.m. Sept. 9. Someone attempted to enter a residence by prying a front door.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Byrd Dr., 9200 block, 11 p.m. Sept. 14 to 3 a.m. Sept. 15. Two juvenile males stole property from a residence, which was recovered.

Manassas Park

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Euclid Ave., 1:19 a.m. Sept. 9. A man stole wheel covers from a vehicle. A 22-year-old Manassas man was arrested.

VANDALISM

Colfax Ct., Sept. 5 to 7:31 p.m. Sept. 7. Someone fired bb pellets at a residence hitting a front window and a window of a vehicle.
