DUMFRIES AREA

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Fuller Heights and Mockingbird Heights roads, 10 p.m. Oct. 18. A gunman demanded property from three female pedestrians, then forced one of them to accompany him a short distance, where he sexually assaulted her.

GAINESVILLE AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

John Marshall Hwy., 14300 block, 7:30 a.m. Oct. 19 to 6:30 a.m. Oct. 22. A residence was entered by breaking a rear window. Nothing was reported stolen.

Sudley Rd., 4400 block, 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 19. Jewelry and ammunition were among property stolen from a residence entered by breaking glass near the front door.

Trek Way, 7000 block, 4:30 p.m. Oct. 19 to 6:30 a.m. Oct. 22. A dishwasher was stolen from a residence under construction.

MANASSAS AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Boar Run Ct., 15500 block, 6 p.m. Oct. 18 to 11:27 a.m. Oct. 19. Three mountain bikes were stolen from an open garage at a residence.

Botsford Rd., 9800 block, 10 a.m. Oct. 19 to 7:30 a.m. Oct. 22. Three firearms and a TV were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked back door.

Dumfries Rd., 10600 block, Oct. 11. Horse saddles, a computer, a gas grill and a bicycle were among property stolen from two storage units entered by cutting locks.

Ellis Rd., 10000 block, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 22. Several firearms were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a window.

Roxbury Ave., 7400 block, 6:30 p.m. Oct. 18 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 21. Three TVs, a laptop computer, two video game systems and jewelry were among property stolen from a residence.

Vic Pl., 8300 block, 9 p.m. Oct. 19 to 5 p.m. Oct. 21. Property was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

NOKESVILLE AREA

ASSAULTS

Nokesville Rd., 13000 block, 4:01 a.m. Oct. 21. During an argument at a party at a residence, a group of men attacked a man. A 19-year-old Nokesville man was arrested.

WEAPONS OFFENSES

Graham Park Rd., 3800 block, 6:09 a.m. Oct. 19. Two males tried their way into a residence at gunpoint, then fired several shots into a window.

ROBBERIES

Kilmer Lane, 18100 block, 3:15 p.m. Oct. 16. Two males argued with a juvenile acquaintance about money, then knocked him to the ground and searched his pockets. The assailants fled empty-handed when an acquaintance intervened. Two Triangle males, 15 and 18, were arrested. The victim was treated for minor injuries.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Jurgenson Dr., 3600 block, 12:26 p.m. Oct. 17. Two males tried to force their way into a residence at gunpoint, then fled empty-handed in a vehicle.

WOODBRIDGE AREA

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

River Ridge Golf Course area, 2900 block, Aug. to Oct. 21. A man attacked an acquaintance on several occasions. A 51-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested on sexual assault charges.

ASSAULTS

Cloverdale Rd., 15100 block, 9:35 p.m. Oct. 20. During an argument, a man attacked a female acquaintance. A 25-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested. The victim was treated for minor injuries.

Fontaine Ct., 14400 block, 2:25 a.m. Oct. 20. During an argument, a man attacked an acquaintance, knocking her to the ground. He then attacked a man who intervened. A 47-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.
