MANASSAS AREA
ASSAULTS

Winchester Ct., 10200 block, 1:07 a.m. Oct. 28. During an argument, a man struck a man in the face with a beer bottle. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.

WEAPONS OFFENSES

River Forest Dr., 6100 block, 5:05 p.m. Oct. 23. A man came out of a residence and shot a rifle at a squirrel while a man was walking a dog nearby. A 41-year-old Manassas man was arrested.

ROBBERIES

Quail Run Lane, 7500 block, 10 p.m. Oct. 24. A man snatched a purse from a woman.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

McLean St., 7800 block, Sept. 27 to Oct. 27. A residence was entered by forcing the front door. Nothing was reported missing.

TRIANGLE AREA
ASSAULTS

Triangle St., 18500 block, 3:46 a.m. Oct. 28. During an argument, a male was cut in the forehead with a knife. An acquaintance of the victim’s, a 61-year-old Triangle man, was arrested.

WOODBRIDGE AREA
SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Old Bridge Rd., 3900 block, 2 p.m. Oct. 24. A registered sex offender was determined to have been at a church during school and day-care hours. A 63-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

ASSAULTS

Brookville Lane, 3400 block, 8:12 a.m. Oct. 24. During an argument, a man threatened a female acquaintance with a kitchen knife. A 28-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

Chadwick Ct., 2500 block, 4:49 p.m. Oct. 24. During an argument, a man attacked a female acquaintance. When the dispute moved to a parking lot, passersby intervened. The woman sustained minor injuries. A 28-year-old Prince George’s County man was arrested.

Colby Dr., 12700 block, 2:13 p.m. Oct. 28. A man walking a dog argued with a pedestrian, then unleashed the pet, which chased the pedestrian and tried to bite him. The dog eventually returned to its owner.

Fontaine Ct., 14300 block, Oct. 23. During an argument at a residence, a man attacked an acquaintance and prevented her from leaving. A 20-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

WEAPONS OFFENSES

Birchdale Ave., 14500 block, 10 p.m. Oct. 24 to 7 a.m. Oct. 25. A shot was fired into a residence, striking an interior wall.

Prince William Pkwy. and York Dr., 2:30 p.m. Oct. 26. The driver of a vehicle that had pulled up next to a motorist waved a handgun at her and fired a shot.

ROBBERIES

Berlin Ct., 3200 block, 9:17 p.m. Oct. 26. Three males threatened a man in a vehicle and robbed him of a cellphone.

Whitmer Dr., 4300 block, 12:44 p.m. Oct. 29. A gunman robbed a male pedestrian of cash.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Antietam Rd., 12300 block, 11 a.m. Oct. 26. An attempt was made to enter a residence through a rear window. Nothing was reported missing.

Birchdale Ave., 14700 block, 5 p.m. Oct. 24 to 10:50 a.m. Oct. 26. Cash was stolen from a business entered by forcing a side door.

Prince William Pkwy., 4200 block, 10:50 a.m. Oct. 24. A video game system, games and equipment were stolen from a day-care center entered by cutting a screen to an unlocked window. A van at the facility was stolen and set on fire.

Tyler Cir., 1500 block, noon to 10:30 p.m. Oct. 27. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by forcing the front door.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Weir St., 8900 block, 11:30 p.m. Oct. 24 to 7:10 a.m. Oct. 25. A toll-road fare device, cellphone equipment and coins were among property were stolen from two vehicles.

VANDALISM

Plantation Lane, 8400 block, 2 a.m. Oct. 25. An air compressor was among tools stolen from a vehicle.

Sherman Ct., 8500 block, 11 p.m. Oct. 24 to 10 a.m. Oct. 25. Tires of a trailer were punctured.
